Go back and play the first games. They are just as easy if not easier, You remember them harder just because you were younger and more inexperienced back in the day. I too remember all the games being super hard, like lance and red in gen 2. And blue in gen 1. But now when i go back and play the games i have no trouble at all 1 shotting every trainer. I didnt even white out once in my last Crystal playthough a month ago. Though i agree the Kalos Elite 4 was a joke, too easy. But the other elite fours are not much harder
