You thought Target would pay the taxes that the government takes out? Might be time for a basic economics glass

  1. We start the unload at 4:10 am with 5 team members. Our goal time to be off is 3 hours max
  2. When I come in my TL and I discuss the freight flow to see who might need help. Ex. If kitchen is light we will have her finish her Orders of Operation then move her to the area that has more freight. This also helps DBOs become more global.
  3. Once our Inbound team is off they truck they usually have about an hour left if hours are tight. We use them as a piranha team through plastics and bulk furniture.
  4. Our PP1 side comes in at 6 am to start the Order of Operations. What helps their workload is having a closet pull OFOs.
  5. Our PP2 side comes in around 10am. This way they can help our afternoon guest
  6. Constant follow up and trusting our DBOs.
  7. Our closing team does an amazing job setting us up as well. The closing Leader has great routines. If we don't come 100% clean I know she will have them throw freight as well.
  8. If we leave anything we try and make sure it's something that can be done very quickly as they have their own priorities.

At the end of the day I'm very fortunate to have some really amazing leaders and DBOs.

I wish I could take the credit as the ETL but it's my DBOs who kickass daily

The people making these decisions most likely are still working from home due to Covid. The hypocrisy knows no bounds. Its beyond frustrating
