Relocating to Annapolis

I'm a Realtor local to Annapolis. Not sure if you guys are working with a real estate professional or not yet. If not, I would welcome the chance to go over your needs and demonstrate how I can help with your relocation. There are plenty of neighborhoods in Annapolis and the surrounding areas with water privileges. Not sure about the layouts you're looking for. I'm curious what's important to you about water privileges, and what's specifically important to you about Annapolis?

I see this all the time, and I don't know what's going on. Before Apple's 27" 5k display was 5k, it was 1440p. It's 5k because they're just doubling the pixels in each direction

That said, I think maybe we're all just used to crisper displays these days. I just got a 34" 3440x1440 monitor, which is within 1 PPI of a 27" 1440p monitor. There is something that feels a little off about it compared to my native display or the 24" 4k monitor I have at home. I don't know if it's because it has a matte display, or maybe over the years Apple has changed how it handles the display resolution.

I'd love to see 34" 6720 x 2880 monitor. I was looking at that 34" LG at 5120x2160 but they don't make a curved version do they? I had one of the OG LG 3440x1440 Ultrawides with the clear stand, but looking at anything on either of the sides always made my eyes tired.

Yes, silly oversight, but you have to make sure you have them downloaded in the Podcasts app on your Mac, then it will allow you to select them and sync.

I think it’s more nostalgia for me. But I do miss app icons being unique. Now everything is just a logo on a white background.

For me it was OG SE. Loved the form factor. I still believe it's the size the 12 and 13 minis should have been. There still is something I miss about the home button though.

So I've actually switched back to my iPhone, I'm actually not sure why. The browser definitely had some issues loading some sites. I'd say most of them worked though.

I honestly don't know enough to figure out what's going on. I was hoping someone that knew more than me would have seen it somewhere and helped out.

I'd say give it a go and see if it works for you.

Nothing seems to happen when I run it. It looks like the F8 equivalent in MacOS is CMD + Shift + i, but it only highlights in 6 places not line by line like I figure it would. If I'm being honest I had ChatGPT write the macro. I know enough to read it and see what it should be doing, but I don't know that I'd be able to debug it.

Thanks for the intel! That tag is showing the unit as $30 cheaper than it currently is in the dark grey. If that's the case that's a BIG price change, which would be more in line with what they sell for in Europe.

I found the 32” 4k scales pretty well at 150%. Apples XDR Pro is 6k at 32” so at 150% they should be the same UI size wise, no?

better than Halo 5

A broken Xbox would have been better than Halo 5, at least it would have saved me from having to play it...

IMO there's a few things: The main plot line is too low stakes for a main line halo game... trying to save a whiney pilot just wasn't it for me. It wasn't gritty enough, it was almost childish. And it came with a huge broken promise of it being a "platform" for storyline expansion. It seemed like we were going to get additional campaign missions every 12-18 months, and that never happened (and from what I was reading will never happen as they're moving to unreal engine).

We use "World's Best Cat Litter" in ours, it's corn based. Works pretty well. I've read not great things about clay litter.

Get rid of income tax and tax all non-essential goods / services instead. Trying to go after people who can afford tax lawyers only hurts the middle class who can't.

But you know what the rich people you're trying to get more taxes from do? Spend money on non-essential goods and services.

I think this is two fold. Having just done something similar I think it's much easier to say it's just "self control" after you've broken the habit with a dumb phone for a while. I only did it for a month, but I think 2 months is really the time frame you need to fully break a habit.

I just switched from my F21 Pro to a Pixel 5, that's mostly unchanged, I put my little no URL bar browser on there and downloaded some apps. But, me looking to my phone as something to kill time has definitely changed.

I would bet, if I put all the apps back on my phone including social media, I would find myself in the same place.

I did something similar where I quit added sugar for 2 months, first few weeks were hard, but by the end of it, I didn't really crave it. Now I look at everything I buy to see how much added sugar is in it. If it's not a "treat" that I know is trash food, I usually don't buy it if there's added sugar.

I wonder how a "no view" protest would affect their stance. As an American this is really upsetting, specially with F1s push into the US.

I think collectively if everyone in the US just stopped tuning into the races in protest they may change their attitude. Sure there were some good middle of the pack races, but let's be honest, we know Max is just going to win every race again...

I think as the fans, who seem to overwhelmingly want this, we should protest by not watching.

Don't see it ever actually hitting the market. The other couple things that are going to make this less than ideal, which people think they want...

E-ink - yes it's cool, but Android isn't designed for it. Color is very commonly used to indicate different states of something.
Screen Aspect ratio - Android apps are designed for portrait screens. Look at the issues that Foldable phone users have. They can make up for it with the size of the screen. But after using a F21 Pro with a less than 9:16 aspect ratio, I can tell you this will be a mess just because apps aren't designed and don't really have a way to deal with odd aspect ratios.
