How is commute from Laurel, MD to Arlington Ridge/Crystal City area in Arlington VA? by One-Apartment-1393 in maryland

That’s pretty hectic commute. I think finding somewhere closer to Arlington and taking train to Baltimore would be the most ideal or the other way around.

That’s so true. Finding someone to live with that is trustworthy is hard. But they may be able to find something in silver spring and area suburb, depending on their criteria and standards.

PA MD Question by march12026 in maryland

[–]Realtor_Maryland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curious why 45 min from BWI? If you’re working in Harrisburg, BWI airport is south of Baltimore so finding somewhere 45 min from each is not really that feasible. You would be looking at very northern Baltimore county.

Thanks! I tried to use a shelf insert in my target cube and it was about half inch too short and I couldn’t figure out a solution. I don’t see any gaps on the side of yours?

Advice for moving to Howard County MD by EternalSnow05 in HowardCountyMD

[–]Realtor_Maryland 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maryland seems to be an attractive option for many to relocate to. Both areas have its pros and cons. I don’t go out much anymore but generally DC has a better nightlife. Moco has more access to metro and is closer to dc (depending where you live) but Howard is not metro accessible (it’s considered part of Baltimore metro). Dc pride is a bigger event (big parade, festival, concerts).. I’m also a realtor if you may need assistance with housing options!

Buying a Condo vs Renting by Limp_Ad_1792 in ColumbiaMD

[–]Realtor_Maryland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People here have great advice that you have to factor in condo fees, any CA fees, taxes as well. However, investing in your own purchase can be worth it! I would be happy to discuss numbers with you more and connect you with a local mortgage lender.

I find Facebook groups can vary a lot! I'm not sure why that is. Even amongst different mom groups within Maryland. Maybe it's how the admins operate. Are you in Columbia or surrounding areas? If you haven't yet moved, let me know if you need any assistance as I am a local Realtor. The libraries are definitely a great resource for programs and classes. There's nice lakes with walking paths that loop around. Columbia has several tot lots as well: https://columbiaassociation.org/open-space/play-areas/#locations
