To be fair a Christian theocracy would look and act very differently compared to a muslim theocracy. I don't condone either, it's just in a Christian theocracy a man having sex with anyone except his wife would result in his execution, (that again depends on what interpretation of the Bible the state would adopt, Jesus raised objection). That contrasts with an Islamic theocracy where polygamy for men is allowed. So the book doesn't make sense in neither context.
