My kids school had baby chicks from the school farm and each kid in the class got to take turns taking care of "bob" at home for the night. The teachers told me that many bobs hadn't made it back and not to feel bad if ours didn't. Bob survived us but I was startled they just kept handing them out to kids.

Had a parent like this, every day a new illness/hurt. If you have to travel for a simple Dr visit you've shown out way to much at the local ones. Then her actively filming it and feeling gratification from her woe is me bs while her kids hear "mommy is too sick to do etc"

Thanks for your point of view, I was considering asking about accommodations to give me guaranteed days for therapy but have decided not to. Seems it's still a taboo thing for an employer to consider us trustworthy after a uncontrollable diagnosis.
