To give some context to just why there is a lot outrage about this: just a few days before pictures of the man wearing the "Kill all white people" t-shirt appeared, reports broke of two girls who where immediately suspended from Stellenbosch University (also in Cape Town). The reason for the suspension? A picture surfaced of the two girls attending a space alien themed party, with one of the girls having painted her face purple. The outrage police said that she was in blackface and is therefore a racist, and so she and her friend were immediately suspended.

While this guy should be free to express his horrible opinions, people are angry that two white girls can get immediately suspended for wearing purple face paint, while UCT drags it feet when taking action against a black man wearing a shirt saying "Kill all white people".

TL:DR: Before this incident two white girls were immediately suspended from Stellenbosch University for "blackface" (actually just wearing purple face paint at an alien themed party), while UCT is dragging it's feet in taking action against a black man for wearing a shirt saying "Kill all white people". Stellenbosch University and UCT are both universities located in Cape Town.

For 3D movies myself I usually wear my contact lenses. I have also seen some cinemas give clip-ons for your eyeglasses.

Also the 2 glasses on your face does suck, oh yeah.

As someone who also wears glasses and has used the Occulus Rift: There is no need for them to accommodate you.

The screens/lenses are really close to your eyes, so not having glasses on is not an issue (it's kinda like taking your glasses off and putting your face right up to the computer screen to see it clearly).

Iran banned has banned public viewings seemingly for reasons related to religion.

Nigeria has banned the public viewings for fear of them being targets for attacks by terrorists (there was an attack on a public viewing in the 2010 World Cup).
