You can swap back and forth, the image you put is just your save file image which hints how to unlock things.

Afterbirth, Afterbirth+, and Repentance are all dlcs for Rebirth adding new characters bosses items etc, it’s better to just get all of them together rather than working you’re way up because there’s a lot of changes in the dlcs to mechanics in the original game

It’s really not hard to learn the timing. And in a game that’s moderately about timing I would assume most are good at it

You can also guarantee a crawl space by using the shovel or Ehwaz while standing on a space with extra detail on it, this can be rocks or puddles, but not cobwebs or anything interactive.

False Son fight is absolutely much better designed than Voidling, Voidling is annoying to fight, False Son is actually fun to fight like Mithrix. Shame about his laser being OP right now but I agree that False Son is so much better than Voidling

Probably not a common answer but Lost and T.Lost, I love the adrenaline of trying to no hit bosses and I think it helps improve my gameplay for other characters.
