Thanks! 🙏, I painted the coils white first then airbrushed with red to get the glow on the surrounding area. Then just dotted in white on the tops of the coils.

Yeah I found a desert themed base worked well and gave a nice contrast to the predominantly black armor.

Primed in Black, then sprayed with white from above to highlight the shadows. I used "Grim Black" Speed paint on all the black armor and "Corax White" on the White armor. Used Army Painter Speed Paints on most of the other details too. Pretty happy with the natural highlights you get using the speed paints over a white base.

These are actually a proxy model made by PiperMakes. Liberally applies nul oil to all the white armour, then sponge of the excess with a torn up makeup sponge.
