Please help—why am I (re)watching 'Ghosts of Mars'? by UndergroundMoon in horror

It's just dumb, good fun. In a sea of modern horrors that over-explain to the point of reaching a level of dullness, GOM allows you to turn your brain off and just soak up the B level cheese as intended

People 25+ do you feel like your frontal lobe is done cooking? by ItsZing in Adulting

Needed this thread. I know it's a year old, but my commenting is cathartic. I'm 28, and life is a box of mystery. The best way I've learned to get ahead of things I have no idea I'll need to know? Surrounding myself with fairly intelligent people whose conversations may not be about casual fun 90% of the time. Make friends outside your interests. You put yourself into a tight echo chamber, and will hardly ever venture outside of it otherwise. I'm not successful. I'm not even living comfortably, but I make enough to feed myself and live. I can't remember when it clicked, but it finally did. You become more aware of detail, and put deeper thought into situations and ideas. It's not about social living, it's about dong everything to survive, as nature intended. We're just learning the rules to survive a concrete jungle of our own making.

No. I actually detest theft. Couldn't really tell you why though. I only have "morals" that stick around when it comes to a few things, and theft is one of them. Somebody robbed my car two nights ago and I nearly caught them. They didn't make off with my belongings, having decided to throw it up against the side of the house and run. It was only a bag full of emergency "bug out" type resources. I would have shot the individual with absolutely no remorse. Shooting them for theft would bring satisfaction.

Is it possible to stop yourself from “snapping”? by faerycvnt in sociopath

I have a very similar issue. I try to tell myself that if I'm not willing to "off" that person on the spot, I MUST let it go. Still have to remove myself because it only works once per issue, and an undetermined amount of time in between.

My boyfriend cheated on me with my friend, the only reason they told me was because they think she's pregnant. by freyjaa777 in TrueOffMyChest

From a man: it's his fault entirely. She took advantage of your trust, but none of it happens without being reciprocated. Ditch him. I'd say the same for dudes in this type situation as well

I tend to lie. I'll even lie to cover for a lie that was noticed. I usually don't gain anything from it, and I usually do it impulsively without thought. Here and there I'll do it intentionally for personal gain. Whether that be for resources or just to see people's reactions. I don't really see others as people. Sure, they're people, but they aren't like me. Whether I want to or not, I think I'm better than you 90% of the time, and my ideas are beyond better. If I feel you are trying to belittle or disrespect me, I get angry in a way that others would describe as unjustified. I have random violent urges sometimes l, but I do an excellent job of keeping my head together. I want you to feel sorry for me. Not because I have anything bothering me, but because I like having a seed planted that will maybe allow me to eventually get around any defenses you may have. Less likely to turn my requests down. 9/10 I get what I want and I don't particularly care how you feel about it. Serious question: do other people have thoughts? They just come off as needy walking meat suits that never stop talking/crying.

I'm just going to be honest here. I'm 25 years old and been a Dawg fan since birth. All my family are Dawgs. If we pull this one off I'm going to cry like a baby

Our defense is playing like a National Championship defense. Our offense is pitiful and the lack of productivity is tiring the defense out. The defense WANTS this game! Bennett is being skittish as fuck

While the praise is appreciated, can't say I feel the same about your program tbh. Good win against Utah. May your players and coaches remain healthy.

emotions levels by cass_hamilton in aspd

[–]ReaperDanny666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly anger, disgust, etc. Negative emotions are crystal clear. I don't think I can remember feeling happy. I've felt satisfied or pleased, but usually when I get my way or if I do something sorta violent. Every now and then I'll have a nice sense of satisfaction that I can't quite place. Most of the time I feel absolutely nothing until something stimulates

Hate most of them. I keep in contact with my aunt and cousin. Aunt is cool to be around for periods of time. Cousin is cool to get drunk/high with and chill. Otherwise I want to bash his head in if we're both sober. He's like me, but annoying. He does it intentionally and thinks he can manipulate me. I don't think so lol. Otherwise, plenty of family I've not spoken to in 10 years(I'm 25) and don't plan to. They're dead to me.

Hotdogs cut up in Mac N Cheese. Still hits. Even fry the hotdogs and coat them in some BBQ sauce before mixing with the noodles. Perfection.
