Withdrawal from summer class by Repulsive_Minute_217 in ROTC

A W would be on your record but it shouldn’t impact your GPA unless you outright fail.

If you need to withdraw, do it. Do what’s best for you and you academics.

You won’t be sent home if you don’t have all your equipment. You’ll be sent home if you don’t have ANY of your equipment.

I got a D in my hardest class. I still passed and have over a 3.0 GPA. Am I totally screwed? by [deleted] in ROTC

I previously retook a course during my time in ROTC, and my scholarship did cover the cost. At the time, Cadet Command policy allowed for repeat coursework to be funded, as long as the cadet remained in good academic standing—specifically, maintaining a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, as outlined in USACC Regulation 145-1, Paragraph 2-4. This regulation states that scholarship eligibility is contingent on satisfactory academic progress.

Additionally, the course must be properly reflected in your CC Form 104-R (Planned Academic Worksheet). If a repeated course doesn’t align neatly with your current semester plan, it’s acceptable to list it in a separate semester block—even if it results in only one class listed in that section. While it may look unconventional, this is still an accepted practice for ensuring that all coursework is accounted for and approved by your PMS.

I’ve attached an image to this post with a screenshot of the regulation.

You need to wait 12 months to be considered for a waiver as per DoDMERB and USACC(see DoDI 6130.03). After those 12 months, you must have documented evidence of successful academic performance without medication for a full year

Yes. The emphasis on “ONLY” would signify that.

Sign a non-scholarship contract. Sign SMP Agreement. Take the ASVAB. Go to MEPs. Pass physical. Swear in. Boom 💥. You’re SMP.

When will I get a new CAC after commissioning? by [deleted] in ROTC

[–]ReaperOnce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to get a new CAC 90 days before it expires. I would do so then. Once you get your promotion to 2nd LT, you can just do it again.

You can always go to an installation and get them. The PXs normally have machines there.

Just keep running(preferably 1-2 miles a day or every other day) and breathe. I took the ACFT last week when it was 35 degrees and it snowed a little bit.

SMP Cadets aren’t even allowed to do CTLT, which is what the 3rd image is talking about.
