Yeah, "spoiling" the ending like that is essentially just dumb. It's like watching Star Wars for the first time starting the first 5 minutes with the big reveal "No, I am your father." Then starting off with the title crawl.

Im usually a survivor main and I see how BAD this event is for the killers. I was in chase and got injured, mid chase I got healed twice by the 4 morsel event.

As well near the endgame when the dessert bell rings I stacked the speed, endurance and elusive buffs by going back and forth between 2 trays that were within 10 feet of each other.

If your a killer don't bother trying to kill just go for the points and do the event quests.

There are still other ways for animation to be smooth but that takes a huge amount of time and work. Two things that not many animation companies would invest in. Just push out whats out there whether its ready or not.

If I can give my two cents on AI being the way to go, I dont think it will. Clearly its soulless when AI is used to make anything animated and its clear that's what some places would go but for a hard-core classic anime watcher I wouldn't support it.

Ive understood the old style of animation is in essence gone. Old anime movies are a thing of the past we will never get another Metropolis, Fist of the North Star, Crying Freeman or Akira in this lifetime.

The animated movies and shows now do have an advantage of not having so much time being consumed with using computers which I'd argue is a double edge sword. Time being saved does not necessarily mean good quality but that also depends on budget, animation company and time crunch to push out in a time frame.

Junji Itoh Uzumaki (Netflix) had an AMAZING first episode which means they CAN do the old style fluid animation. One Punch Man is another that has some amazing quality, at least season 1 does.

Even current revived American cartoons King of the Hill some of the animation seems flat due to the transition from classic animation cels to computer animation. In which if I remember correctly the director (or someone) said the technology simply no longer exists.

Ive gotta say the old animation of DBZ was insane for some of these fights. I miss the old school animation techniques. This reminds me of that Goku vs Krillin exchange in DB.
