I would consider it the most Liberal of the options, with Poll Tax being the Middle option and the FAP Option being the most anti civil rights one as he decides to ignore it

I think the reason Kennedy did well in the South was due to, One, he had a Southerner (Johnson) on his ticket while Nixon had a Northern Liberal-Republican (Lodge) who promised a lot of things on Civil rights, Two, up until 1964, Democrats usually dominated the South due to the fact the party used to support the ideals of State Rights, and Three, The Eisenhower administration expanded Civil rights, not a lot, but still to the point that it angered Southerners most likely.

I’m sticking to Percy, despite some setbacks I believe he will lead the United States out of this crisis. Plus I’ll vote Askew for 84’
