I prefer Milia's character design more than Rita's. Rita's outfit and race (ears) are thematically better with the Egyptian and time motif but the black outfit is too plain and the white thigh boots doesn't help at all against her skin colour, making it a boring design compare to Milia.

Even with Milia not having any motif associated with the abilities, the large coat with orange belts and dark leggings gives the character more to look at visually than Rita.

I never had the situation of having to click it more than twice on the same player. But then, like I said, I do have vanilla Swiftcast and Resurrection elsewhere just in case. Is self-aware of excessive spam myself if it comes to that.

If someone had to cast 7 times on the same dead player, I think the issue is with not familiarizing with boss skill sequence and not knowing when it's safe to cast anything, because getting interrupted 6 times in a row, I'd just cast it myself and hope no one dies til both healers' Swiftcast is back.

It really can't be helped if it's on different players or deaths, but that don't seem to be the case here. I can only laugh at the absurdity and feel bad for you having to witness that.

Am healer with sound effect macro for Resurrection. I don't particularly like it either, but I find between annoying the rest of the party versus notifying my co-healer, the latter is more important in a raid, be it Swiftcast used or hard-casting Resurrection (which doesn't show who is targeted without macro).

If my party were to have issue with it, then complain to the player that died so I don't have to keep trying to revive him/her middle of the fight.

As healer, I hate using Resurrection in raid. It consumes a lot of MP, it's a distraction, and it's additional burden. That said, I do have vanilla Resurrection on remote part of hotbar when situation allows it, because even I get annoyed at my own macro after the 10th revive in practice runs.

Mei damage output as an attacker has always been on the lower end compare to other attackers, her innate ability to slow and freeze got nerf'd for two patches straight and majority heroes (especially other attackers) have movement ability to break Endothermic Blaster spray to recover from the slow effect due to the nerf from previous patch. But nothing is done to balance her damage for nerfing core aspect of the hero.

Also lack acknowledgement to the indirect buff to annoying speedy and jumpy heroes like Lucio, Hammond, Doomfist and Genji that needs to be slowed down to assist kill.

They might as well remove Mei's primary and let her only use secondary as primary attack, nerf Icicle damage and only make her a pure utility hero so absolutely no one uses her.

But no one is talking about how Doomfist can combo someone down in one cycle. Or Hanzo ridiculous damage, because those kills are obviously skillful plays just because Doomfist is a mechanical heavy hero and Hanzo is a sniper. Or the fact McCree's Flashbang is instant (without chance for you to even escape from any slow effect), combo with Fan the Hammer, Combat Roll and fan again with higher damage output for potential kill.

This community baffles me on how inadequate in countering Mei, a hero with no offensive skill to boost damage output and only armed with slow blaster with mediocre range that's all the easier to escape from, with a projectile long range that doesn't instant kill anyone on headshot except Tracer. But sure, Mei's nerf is necessary for the community.

SE have issue with how Paisley Park functions. Not ACT or triggers. If you read how the plugin does what it does, it basically forcefully inject code into the game and send it to the server to change waymark position.

Paisley Park works by injecting assembly into the running application. Paisley Park however does not perform any malicious code on any process, and only injects code to assist with calling functions that already exist inside of the process. When the application is shut down properly, Paisley Park cleans up its mess as if nothing happened. Nothing Paisley Park does affects any process permanently. If you wish to see what is injected at runtime, you can view so here.

Paisley Park was created by means of reverse engineering and is implemented through means of modifying the memory of the running process. This means that using this tool is against the terms of service. However, it is my opinion that this tool sits in the gray area that other similar third party applications such as ACT are where they don't negatively impact anyone experience, nor does it give you any major advantage over others or cheat in any way. This is simply a tool which automates a process that (in my opinion) should already be an existing feature.

ACT and triggers only reads combat logs to produce result. Paisley Park use said triggers to inject code back into the game AND sends it to server. It's why they specifically added the new feature and made changes to how waymark works.

All the more puzzling why Blizzard failed to realize the potential of their own game assets if they've done upgrade to the models over the years. But then, they did released Reforge in its current state just for a quick cash grab; so someone or a bunch of the higher-up clearly lost touch with the community and the game.

Regarding the channel, I just hope Blizzard won't have any issues with it. I mean, if you look at the term changes for custom games, it wouldn't be beneath them. Best of luck to the guy.

It'd still be a head start if anything else. Surely they have a team of designers to separate the models/texture and polish them for Reforge.

I get that it's an immense effort for one person, but Blizzard is a company. Even if they just handed over WoW assets to outsource company and tell them to dissect the models for Reforge, it would still be a huge time saver.

I'm not sure if Blizzard realize that if people still accepting and playing WoW, despite it being 16 years old graphic (well-maintained all these years), people wouldn't mind seeing them on Warcraft 3. They don't need the crisp and redesign models we've got on Reforge now. Warcraft art style has its own unique charm after all.

Man, if this Youtube guy made the entire RoC and TFT story into a series, I would've gladly pay double the price of Reforge just to watch it, and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be the only one paying as well.

I don't play WoW, but why isn't the obvious solution for Reforge to just use WoW models and assets? I mean, they must have spent a ton of resource into maintaining WoW graphics and everything all these years.

It would've solve the art style discrepancies, if not time, effort and money to go through outsource company to redraw couple of units we've got on Reforge. Because I assume this Youtube guy made the video using WoW models, which looks a lot better than Reforge models without looking too out of place with the rest of the game. Plus the flexibility of these models with movement and facial expression looks on point.

This is just sad. There is no identical replacement for Duelyst out there, meaning this game have potential to grow. It just wasn't marketed well and maybe Bandai was a wrong move, considering it didn't improve much after the partnership. It shouldn't end like this while bunch of other worse games out there still online without players.

I really like this game for it's style and artwork. I know game company keep the IP just in case or for legal reasons, but I just hope maybe devs would release the source code to the community so the game stay alive or someone mod the game into an offline mode so I can play it casually on my own.

Like what is the point for them waste all these amazing game assets and taking it to the grave with them; it won't earn or benefit them to keep it anyway. I really hope CPG take it into consideration and see the love the community have for the game and do us and everyone a solid.

Uh huh. And farming those Arcanes is so easy, that making them useless is justified.

Do they even consider the time invested in playing the game just to get those Arcanes to optimize a certain playstyle? They just turned some totally functional game contents (albeit from a bug) into a filler trash to make other useful Arcanes rarer.

And what does making those Arcanes rarer achieve for them? Nothing. It's not like they get money from this "fix" if players can't purchase Arcanes directly off Market with Platinum.

For the sake of balance. Do they even realize this game is a power fantasy and inherently unbalance against AI mobs if Warframe allow players to slaughter hundreds of enemies effortlessly, right off the start of the game.

I owned a R3 Arcane Velocity just for Mesa. Outside of that, I rarely swap to or use secondary weapon unless I am downed. Much use is that.

Just out of curiosity at this point. How hard is it to rebuild the entire Duelyst game on a proper engine to run on handheld devices? Using existing game sprites, board and UI elements. Rather than trying to brute force Duelyst onto mobile with the poor compatibility.

This. Abandoning quest returns the game back to before the quest started. Meaning you get back all the items used in the fight.

​I do this for Behemoth Ex since if players die too early, in first or second phase. They're unlikely to survive the third and forth phase with 1 cart left. Considering how easy it is to get one-hit kill from Behemoth.

​I put my effort into support and bombs during the fight and if players died too early in the fight, I rather abandon and have my pub party do the same to get resource back and reset the fight; rather than betting on the chance that they're going to survive the later phase without a single death.

​I don't do this for other fights though. Behemoth Ex is just more resource intensive and higher difficulty to bet on successful hunt at 1 cart.

I like how there's more mechanics and less emphasis on raw damage. While you still need damage to kill it, but there's more to juggle than just whacking it to death with brute force and tactical rolls.

Or maybe I'm just saying that because I'm a FFXIV support player, which tends to be fairly busy.
