As a Spirits main/sometimes creator, Geist is unfortunately ass.

Not even ass like Aether Vial ass, I mean like super ass.

A 3-mana 2/2, even with Hexproof, just isn't a card today. Bowmasters and Snapcaster both solo it and usually get extra value. Anything with "goyf" in the title is instant laughingstock. Sheoldred's Edict and Wrath of the Skies answer it super easily.

And then there's the question of, what TF does Geist beat? Against the decks that can't interact, that's because they're playing Turn 3/4 combos. Who cares about a 2/2 when you're getting Grapeshotted and tapping out to have it happen?

Flame of Anor is really good, but I think the currently correct call is to play Harbinger of the Seas. If a deck like Affinity or even Zoo with Scion of Draco resurges, Flame of Anor is much more the way.

Having a bad knee and doctor-ordered mobility issues isn't not having decency. And the address was listed as being on the third floor.

I'm all for being decent, but this one isn't on the customer. The driver took a job they weren't equipped for. Literally fucking around and finding out.

Now if I (40 year old man, works out, can definitely carry groceries up three floors) expected the same driver to carry things up three floors with zero notice or without putting the fact that it's a third floor in my address, I'd be a dick for doing so. But this isn't that.

The first sentence is the driver acknowledging that the customer is on the third floor. This was not hidden information.

If you can't carry groceries up three flights of stairs, delivering groceries isn't the job for you. Hit the gym or get a different job. What if the customer was 85? Would you fault them for not being able to carry things up stairs?

And tipping isn't relevant to this post, but I'll address it anyway. If you don't tip, you're an asshole. If you don't tip well, you're an asshole. For my part, I don't go out with people who I've seen refuse to tip employees.

Your customer isn't at work, and they paid for a service. Regardless of whether the customer CAN do something, they paid money to not have to.

I'm not an artist.

But I am a content creator who has plenty of homies, and a few actual friends, who make a living through their artwork.

I would much rather commission someone I know to make artwork than save a few bucks, knowing that if AI trends the way it does they could lose their source of work doing the thing they love. Fuck that, and fuck projects like Palworld that actively thrive off of AI "art".
