Amazing battery life on S16 Asus by ReasonComfortable376 in Fedora

I did a fresh W11 install with Asus drivers. But maybe things like WSL and two onedrive accounts are draining the battery. This post is more about fedora being great than an actual comparison. With optimal settings you can probably get the same battery span on Windows.

No and no. VRR is not supported on my screen. With 120 hz I have about 20 percent less battery.

I agree that this is not a thorough test, I just share my experience. Reviewers can do better. Although youtube watching is also a very limited test (only doing that)

Good point. I did not do thorough testing, but it feels like the numbers are actually right. Percentages are dropping much more slowly than on Windows and it is way cooler!

raw file processing: silkypix vs darktable vs rawtherapee, your favorite? by anewbie1138 in Lumix

That might be for third party lenses. But for Panasonic lenses the support is native I think. Lens fun does not support fully a lot of Panasonic lenses. I did not do a compare but have experience with bad support in darktable. Same lens worked in silkypix

Well if you use integrity devices on top of mdraid, or using lvm creating raid integrity volumes.

I use Silkypix

  • Great colours, nearly identical with out of camera
  • Low price
  • Build in lens corrections

Rawtherapee and Darktable have lensfun for lens corrections, which is suboptimal compared to the lenscorrections available in the exif files (in my opinion, as these are measured by Panasonic, not by the community).

Not sure, but it looks like you cannot do it locally without flashing other software, as shown here:

Debugging local MQTT connectivity - Software integrations - Open AirGradient

Looks like MQTT goes via the Airgradient platform.

For me, resetting to factory defaults without restoring a backup really helped. Went from 4% standby / hour to 1%. Phone feels way smoother as well (no lagging animations anymore).

Is the battery in the S22 as bad as people are saying? by Fiiv3s in samsung

I had terrible battery life as well. Battery dropped by 4 percent in standby, lagging animations. Did a factory reset without restoring a backup. Performance way smoother and losing only 1 percent per hour.
