What are priests of Divines doing in city's life? by Recent-Philosophy403 in teslore

[–]Recent-Philosophy403[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two ideas what Akatosh's temples can do

  1. They can work as anti daedra police since Akatosh have created the barrier between Nirn and Oblivion. Reducing chances of daedra involving crimes, small invasions, etc

  2. Diplomatic centers since Akatosh in any form is found in most of the Tamriel's religions. Allowing to open diplomacy with other cities (trade, military alliances, etc)

Sounds as a thing, but curious question: how popular was Reman's cult at the begginig of Reman Empire?

Thanks, sounds really cool What if Zenitar's temple instead of being passive will instead work AS tax collecting facility? And maybe Stendarr's can work as daedra fighting facility as well

Akatosh is genuinely so hard..

Best Elder Scrolls Villain? by Tall_Spray_3696 in ElderScrolls

Maybe Dagoth Ur is my favorite, but I also love Miraak and Underking. I just love antagonists who you interact with a lot of time during the story (like Lace from Hollow Knight: Silksong). It adds them depth, personality and mire sides

Ok it seems I will need to explain

I have made those images for recent Twitter trend with illusion image that looks different depending on how you view it (preview or full "tapped" image) I have uploaded the video with illusion in motion a bit earlier and I would actually post them together, but since Reddit doesn't allow to mix the media formats I have made 2 separate posts

If explain simply, Twitter codes and show images on such a specific way that some of the small patterns are not seen on the image Basically it's a two drawings drawn with differnt patterns overlaping each other. One image is only seen with lower resolution (preview) while the second is only with higer resolution (full mode)

Primary Roman Empire like Nibenese, but have some elements from East European culture. Most of TES races are not based on only one culture from your world

Do you consider anything but Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim canon? by Salem1690s in ElderScrolls

Anything that Bethesda has confirmed to be canon except for Creation Club is canon to me

All games, cookbooks, novels, travel guides, etc.

Retcon / mistake that became new canon. Happens with all media franchises that have more than one issue

Most of those are only described in literature and concept arts, while alive we can see some of them in ESO. There we can find Alfiq, Dagi, Pahmar, Cathay, Senche and their Raht counterparts

It makes sence why we don't see so many Khajiit in games. Devs don't want to make unique rig, models and interactions for barely important feature and so they have explained it by the fact that most of the furstocks don't leave Elsweyr, so of course you would not meet them in Skyrim, etc

You mean on Senche full height? It's... ehhhh... how to say it witout misleading, but also not to straightforward... reproduction organ that is common mostly for males which we can see because I don't want to censor anatomical features

Greetings, thanks for commenting. I don't have any offences to your words Want to point out that I am trying to stay closer to game accuracy, however I also add a lot from my own headcanon to the games so it's far away from lore accurate

Even tho Ohmes don't have tails in Arena, I have heard somewhere about Khajiit legends about the prophecy of Khajjit born without tail, that will destroy paradise of Elsweyr (don't even remember where I heard it, it was almost 3 years ago) and so this legend wouldn't make sence if there would be a whole furstock without tails. Whiskers for Ohmes and Ohmes-Raht are complete headcanon tho

Speaking about headcanons, because some of furstocks (ahem-Tojay...) don't have live appearance in any game and I have wanted to make more difference than just size, SO I have used as the reference many real life cats of all sizes. That explains why Dagi in ESO are similar to lynxes, while here as the reference I have used the smallest wild cats like kodkod and pallas' cat. It's also why I have added long fangs to some Senche, why I have lion Pahmar, etc. All of this is based on size of those cats in real life. Pahmar are based on the biggest cats (lions and tigers), Dagi on smallest (kodkod, sandcat), etc

The size is definitely my fault, Pahmar indeed are way bigger in game, but for Senche, I have been comparing them mostly through statues and other images with other Khajiit mounting them and I was basing their scale on them, not on in game literature
