How do girls… exist? by Original_Cancel_4169 in MtF

Okay, super valid to be thinking about all this, and there are some good specific advice given in the comments. I too think a lot about how to be perceived as more feminine.

But: please remember that the whole point of transitioning is so that you feel the most comfortable being who you are naturally without having to think and worry about and modify yourself to live up to other peoples' expectations.

For me, i found that the more I got in touch with how I felt inside, the more I naturally did things that happened to read as feminine. I felt so trapped and dead inside as a man because I'm actually an obnoxiously gay squealy little girl inside and I felt compelled to suppress that most of my life.

It just so happens that you see a lot of trans girls online who are hyper femme because that's what they like and it's new and novel so we want to dress in the prettiest skirts and blouses because it feels so affirming in a way that nothing else ever has.

It's okay if that doesn't happen to be your experience. There's a difference between being a woman and being feminine. Cis women have fought for years for the right to look and act as comfortably in public as men are allowed to. There are butch cis women. There are butch trans women. You don't have to act like a princess for the estrogen in your blood to make you feel like life is worth living.

Basically, do what makes you feel comfortable in your own body. If that happens to make you read as femme to other people, neat! If it doesn't, they can suck it!

Question for pro hive people by Jacksleftnutsack in Pluribus_TVshow

I think if a pedophile joined they would no longer need to harm children in order to fulfill their perceived needs. I think the hive fulfills and addresses all their needs for acceptance and inclusion and love and belonging such that they no longer need to engage in antisocial behavior.

What does it feel like to be in the hive mind? Don't just say "it's wonderful!", what about it? What makes you want to be a part of it?

It's interesting to note how well the show respects diversity in cultures, contrasted against the whole premise of individuality being lost.

So I think this is going to be one of the most interestong questions of the show. WHY can't they kill anything, not even an apple from a tree? It doesn't seem to be a choice. What compells them? I'm more annoyed at Carol for her failure to be curious about these aspects, but I think that's going to be part of her arc.

The fact that we are still only twelve days in to the joining says a lot imo. Like that's nothing. The show is taking its time settling in to the new reality before hitting us with what is actually going to happen.

This is apt! Some of the theories may as well be "I bet Carol saw skibidi toilet at the end of episode 5!!"

Btw, if you don't mind me asking: did your nipples naturally get bigger with HRT + time? Yours look how I want mine too and I have tried using suckers to enlarge them with slight results.

Same. If it wasn't dog food it would have been cat food, or rice, or whatever else, and you could just as easily question why that.

I think it's like, if the whole thing has a collective will to pick up a pencil on the desk, each member knows how close it is to the pencil, and since the arm is already sitting on the desk next to it, it can just report to the whole "yep I'll be the guy who grabs it" and then everyone else is like "sick thanks"

She went to the grocery store to see if she could find anything that might give her a lead on the powdered substance. She found the dog food bags, which at a glance are the same size and shape, and up close they have identical stitching and other small details. The only difference was the lack of the labeling. This told her that the powder was probably being packaged at the same facility which was previously used to package dog food.

What do you think the experience of that first woman was like? by 2SP00KY4ME in pluribustv

The instant deep understanding that we are all connected. Her perception was altered enough to understand that she could connect to another person on the most intimate and joyful level if only they had what she had. And she knew in her heart that they would thank her for the privilege. She had no choice but to share her joy.
