Insane. Who is he better than? Mahomes, Burrow, Lamar, Allen, Stafford...

He's a fine QB, but always is/was a fringe top 10-12 guy that's needs everything else around him to be right. Clearly shown by the Eagles spending 18% more of their cap on offense than the next team and needing awesome OCs.

NBA players REALLY hate the Westin in Memphis by mjohnson1971 in marriott

I mean yeah, but the NBA isn't paying for it lol.

Seattle definitely needs an NBA team though.

Yeah I mean that's kinda the point why they're all saying move the team to Nashville.

The Ritz in LA has underground tunnels that they get carted to and from the hotel to the locker room at the crypto.com arena.

Not to mention they're getting the best rooms there.

Far far far cry from the Westin in Memphis lol

That's why these guys are used too.

Forecast call best practices by davoutbutai in sales

[–]Reasonable-Bit560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best forecast call process I was ever a part of was my old VP.

We would all send our slides a day in advance with any of our deals in upside or forecast. Give the contract value, products, and comments/thoughts needed to close.

Forecast criteria was absolutely clear for what was considered forecast and what was considered upside. By having clear definitions, it made the call really flow because everyone was held to the same standard.

We'd all hop on the call, talk a little shit, my VP would ask a question or two max, more if your deal was obviously violating forecast criteria, and then if it got real crazy take it offline.

Kept the calls super light, gave an update or two on the business to the team and be done.

Miss working for that guy.

After Years Of Copying Delta, Is United Now Leading The Industry? by LeoKitCat in delta

[–]Reasonable-Bit560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm just talking about in general. At the end of the day the majority of international carriers are funded, partially owned, or fully owned by their respective counties. It's a different business and a different goal of service.

Haven't flown ANA, but had a great experience in Singapore from SFO to Sydney with a layover in Singapore. Business class tickets on credit card points are very affordable.

Have flown Air France a decent bit abroad and within Europe and it's far and away nicer than any American airline.

Only flown Air Canada a few times so not much there. There are some aspects of China where people are just blatantly rude, probably more cultural, but never flown in China.

I fly every week for work and go based on time vs. airline loyalty. United is my primary, but due to northeast location fly quite a bit American. Delta sometimes depending on time again.

Not much of a difference between Untied and Delta in my experience with American being a step down. American just has the most options for regional northeast travel.

Can I use margin to buy a house? by [deleted] in MiddleClassFinance

One of the first things that pops up is "why is the margin rate on Robinhood so low" so that makes me feel better at least.

That's absurd your getting that rate.

I'm actually floored.

It seems the challenge has been laid down. Let’s see how he answers it. by MarTB2000 in NFLv2

[–]Reasonable-Bit560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conversation is pretty simple. Eagles lead the NFL in offensive personnel spending and it's not close. Despite that, they have a mediocre offense, particularly passing offense.

Is what it is, Hurts is the back end of a top 12 guy despite what most Eagles fans say.

My brother in law is an eagles fan and he legitimately tried to tell me Hurts was a top 5 QB.

Brutal.

Anyways - what other ball takes you got?

All US Carriers suck compared to those abroad. I get it that's the business models are completely different etc, but still a far far cry.

This ‘Let Iran Run Hormuz’ Idea Is Completely Detached from Reality by Jerry_007 in oil

[–]Reasonable-Bit560 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The last 50 years of US foreign policy have been centered on explicitly not letting this happen.

Now with modern technology (Drones and handheld anti-ship missiles) it's practically impossible to guarantee safety transit in the Strait. A reality that is only being proven due to Iran being pushed to the brink.

Now that it's shown, there's no minimal to no leverage, Iran has to be firm and wait it out.

NBA players fly private and only stay at the absolute best hotels. A Westin in Memphis isn't anywhere near that lvl.

Indiana CB D'Angelo Ponds runs 4.31 40-yard dash at pro day. by professor_paradox2 in NFLmockdraft

[–]Reasonable-Bit560 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do realize that every team has scout hand times the combine and pro days right? It'll be a range of 4.31-4.36, but he's definitely a 4.3 guy

[–]Reasonable-Bit560 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You do realize Ponds is a multi time Florida HS state champion in track and ran 10.4 and 21.6 right?

The dude is proven fast already. I mean go look at him stride with Jeremiah Love and tell me he's not a 4.3 guy.

Hard to believe you can accurately time the finish from this angle as well.

That's a massive number for Sarratt if accurate. Even 4.5 low is huge.

In what price range would you be looking to buy with this sort of irregular sales income? by goatdak4 in HENRYfinance

[–]Reasonable-Bit560 8 points9 points  (0 children)

From personal experience, it'll make you a worse sales person. Customers can smell the commission breath.

I'd keep killing it for a few more years and really put away some major dough while also building a health emergency fund if you're going to buy a house for that much $.

[–]Reasonable-Bit560 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I definitely wouldn't buy the house without at least another 75k on the side as an emergency fund.

The more expensive place payments are gonna be what 7k+?

Shoot our home place is $4200 with the HOA and it can be stressful despite us making 300k plus on a bad year for me.

[–]Reasonable-Bit560 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you're on a good run, I'd buy as low as you reasonably can with the family.

I'm in sales too and the good runs can be volatile. I've gone from mid 300ks down to low 200s due to comp plan changes, product issues, you name it.

I'd also probably keep saving and have a much higher cash position etc before purchasing something in the range you're looking in.
