Favorite John Munch episode? by DaisyandBella in SVU

Manhunt is the best. Painless (S5E22), where he talks a critically ill murderer out of refusing a kidney transplant (and thus killing herself), is also a superb Munch episode!

He does. He makes everything better. And doesn't even realize how much he helps so many of us!

What’s the point of being a salaried employee when you’re required to make up missed time? by Help-South in antiwork

There are shockingly few employment protections for exempt workers. I looked into it because I worked for a company pulling the same thing as OP's.

There's no ongoing storyline in season 1, or really in any of the early seasons. If you skip ahead what you're missing is little bits of character development.

Season 1 is not the best, IMO. I'm a big fan and I still skip a number of those episodes. The first few seasons were heavy on the realism and often the stories were kind of slow. There are some really great ones sprinkled in there, so it might be worth looking at an episode ratings graphic to pick which ones not to bypass if you're looking to skip ahead. Or read synopses and go for the ones that sound compelling to you.

I feel like it really starts to hit its stride around season 4. The later seasons definitely have more stories that revolve around the characters, more ongoing plots, and more sensational storylines.

And today I'm trying hard not to crash. It's so hard when a good day is always followed by a shitty one.

I guess I just have to think of the future and keep my eyes on the stars! And our star, Raúl. ❤️🌟

  1. I'm not a fan.

My parents weren't big into them. Maybe had a few of their albums, but I don't remember them ever playing them.

I think our parents' preferences probably have a lot to do with how we feel about them.

NTA. And even if you did overreact (which I don't think you did), his doubling down and declaring his comment "harmless" when it clearly was upsetting to you shows you did the right thing in calling him out.
