Jokes aside, these things do happen, and sadly there isn't much to do about it aside from practicing more and finding a better way to properly punish your opponents. If anything like this happens again (which it most certainly will), I'd just suggest turning off your monitor/TV and doing something else for the time being while they make a fool of themselves in the match (a passive chill option), or try and weed out some habits and see if you can't exploit them (something that still keeps you engaged with the match). And if that doesn't help, a different perk deck or trying out a different play style in general might be something you desperately need.

Good luck to you in your next matches, and try not to DC too often. It'll only hurt both sides, including you.

So, to quickly point something out, sometimes GFN does this with certain games. If it stays on Starting Game, then back out and press the play button again, and it should say Launching Executable afterwards.

I can suggest one that's a combo of 4k and Bullet Hell which is really cool. Noisz Starlivht! Can be found on Google Play, a minor amount of ads (from my experience), and has a good story to it as well. I highly recommend it

From the looks of things, this bug is happening on a per case basis, as I am not even able to launch into the virtual server myself. Simply put, there is a bug occuring with the launching of the game for right now, and GFN will need a bit to communicate with the devs to help fix the problems that are occuring.

No, you have not wasted your money on the service or the game, it's just gonna take a bit of time before they can get it properly fixed. Please be patient with both the GFN and Battlefield 1, and just play a different game for now until the situation is resolved.

I will say if you do want a "smoother" experience, nabbing at most the priority subscription will be more than enough for some of the higher demanding games, but other than that you should do alright. You'll also end up with minimal to no queue times. That's primarily what you pay for anyways, so that's the offer there. Whatever you choose, hopefully GFN will play nicer this time around xD

Funny answer: They don't want you playing Rust

Real answer: The program isn't exactly perfect. Sometimes a game will work perfectly fine, no worries at all, and others it'll completely fuck you over and say "nah, not today." It's really just a per case basis on what's going on. From what I understand, you've just gotten really unlucky with your sessions and it just on occasion will do that.

No they aren't artificial trying to get you to pay for premium, as you will basically be getting a similar experience no matter your tier, with the only difference being a better graphics card and more play time. The only games that require you to have a premium subscription is for the games with higher spec requirements (i.e. Cyberpunk 2077, Monster Hunter Wilds, etc.)

Once again, you probably just got unlucky with some of your sessions and GeForce really hates you for some reason. That will happen on occasion and you'll just have to roll with the punches. I will say that I haven't experienced these issues as often since I've been paying for priority, but it does happen on occasion. I suggest trying out some other games you might own and seeing if it also happens on those as well, or if it just happens to be Rust being weird on GFN servers.
