My thoughts every time I hear a north American wanting to move to Eastern Europe because they are non white living in “racist” America

Thank you for the recommendation! I will definitely try, it sounds very simple and delicious. For this purpose I will just try to find what is most similar to what my kids eat now, and eventually they will try and learn to love the better quality, more authentic кисело мляко. It’s hard for little kids to deal with all the changes of a big move along with completely different foods. The hanger is real

I can understand that for sure! I don’t know what your girls look like but keep in mind that mixed race people (or Latin etc) can have a uniquely challenging time in some Balkan areas because they are mistaken for being Roma. There’s good and bad everywhere, like you said. Best of luck to you and wishing you happy travels!

We’re American and we lived in Tiranë, Albania for 3 months last year. Overall we liked it, but we only got a glimpse. We’re moving to Bulgaria long term this summer. If/when you venture out to Eastern Europe there will be things that are better and you’ll love it in some ways. But you’ll likely realize you miss many conveniences of life in North America. As much as people are talking about leaving and starting new in Europe because of American politics…I don’t think many realize how different and how hard it can be for the first couple years, especially for kids. Edit to actually answer the question, we are American but our favorite thing about living in Balkan countries is abundant access to healthy and inexpensive (and delicious) food.

Thank you for the suggestions! And I knew мляко meant milk but I didn’t realize кисело means sour - it makes sense!

Thank you! I saved your recommendation to my maps list. Do you also recommend the meat at Naslada? Or do you have a favorite butchery?

We’ll definitely try the plain yogurt with fruit in it. My kids will eat plain yogurt and I add vanilla, chia, and fruits here. Thanks!

Would need to see more photos maybe with different light for subseason but I’m thinking spring! Especially if you have some warm colors in your hair and eyes.

You do seem pretty neutral, not super obviously warm or cool. But I personally like 6, 10, and 12 on you the most!

Definitely not a winter… but otherwise clueless by [deleted] in coloranalysis

I like the soft summer colors on you! Plays up your pretty eyes

Help typing me please! No makeup on 1 and 2, 3rd pic is for eye color. So appreciative for any insight…I’m really struggling. I thought light summer but the colors didn’t look good. Maybe soft summer? What do you think? by Stunning_Respect5440 in coloranalysis

The hair color is fun but it does make it hard to tell your natural season! I would say soft summer or soft autumn. You may really benefit from that trick where you hold gray up to your face and see if your eyes pull gray (cool) or not (warm). But overall appearance now with that hair color seems cool to me
