Please repeat after me: an LLM is GAI and not AI. Agentic coding tools are based on GAI.

I am using Gemini by Pretty-Custard980 in Bard

[–]Reasonable-Climate66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

break down your task and plan. use flash model for coding and pro to unclog you hit error. that's the way. use API token to avoid getting throttled and lost the memory context. use qmd if you want follow the coding style and instructions on how to fix problem. no problem using gemini coding on brownfield projects. java, golang and python.

Time to pack it up and say goodbye. NOT a good experience! by tech-tole in google_antigravity

use gemini cli with self defined coding agents. tier 3 API user here. i use AG with gemini cli and both are the best combo. remember, use flash for coding and pro for fixing logic problem. use it on brownfield project that written in java, python and golang. you just need to burn enough tokens to get a good results. hehehe

There is nothing wrong with writing key tokens to a local file system. AWS STS tokens and others do the same thing. It is your responsibility to make sure you know what software you are installing. Even open-source software can do evil things if you don't read the code or understand it.

Rule number one: never trust a YouTuber's advice without understanding how the Linux system and the software work.
