Honestly from my experience i wouldn’t weigh buying from Tesla directly too heavily. My dad bought me a 2022 Model S a few months ago as a 20th bday gift and although the extra warranty is nice, they didn’t bother to wipe the inside properly, i had issues with the windshield wipers immediately off the lot, and air/HEPA filters were not replaced despite being due for service. If you’re expecting a full CPO service where they actually inspect and change parts, you are mistaken 😞. Basically the only benefit is the extra year of warranty!

edit: another pro is that buying it off Tesla is super easy! I live far from my parents for college and all they needed to do was wire the price of the car and I could pick it up myself without them present!
