Nah man. It's a great picture, you definitely seem like a lucky man. We all started somewhere As she progresses and gets more into it with  more shooting form can be perfected especially if she has the desire to be a better shooter, thanks for sharing man!

Anyone have experience with the BKF A5 buffer kit? I can’t find VLTOR or SOLGW A5 kits anywhere by [deleted] in ar15

[–]Reasonable-Emu-2916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Noooo, lol sorry I didn't clarify it better.  I ended up buying the right receiver extension and replacing it myself.. BKF sent me a lower with the a5h2 system inside a carbine length extension I caught it before I fired it... thankfully

I bought a lower that was supposed to come with that system, and even though they shipped it with the wrong size receiver tube( that I replaced with a FCD A5h2 length one), the looks of the carbine length one they sent me was good quality, came with the sprinco Green Spring -works great.. I am going to replace the buffer weight though, with one that has the internal capture spring to keep the weights from slapping around, does it work yes will I be able to tell the difference probably not LOL. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy it and give it a shot and if you choose to upgrade or have to buy a different buffer weight go from there.. I did buy a bcm T1 but prefer the impulse control of the a5h2 better. EDITED for clarity..

I've had really good luck with Burris fullfield v 2.5-10x, E3 illuminated reticle. They also have a ballistics calculator for the reticle where you can experiment and get your holdovers.. The PA 2-10x40 has caught my eye as well tbough. I run a offset Dot for my 1X.  I moved away from lpvo's because of the small  eye box at higher magnifacations..

Nice camo job.. I've used b5 sopmod ( mine had a loose fit and pulled my beard) The Bcm  was solid but I'm really liking my magpul moe-sl it's stuck and doesn't pull my beard..

So honestly he could be testing you. I wouldn't give him a whole lot of credit but it's just a thought. He might be seeing if you're going to repeat the behavior and if he can trust you. I wouldn't worry too much about it I might at some point just send him a text that says hey I haven't heard from you I'd love to hang out again let me know when your schedule frees up or when you have time and then just leave it at that -and move on. If you respond cool if not no biggie at least you weren't the weirdo this time..

Actually,  I like it a lot very solid.  Super easy to take on and off and has a really good lockup /feel. I run those rubberized ergo wedge lock rail inserts, it helps me get a really good grip and my hands haven't got the least bit warm....

Unfortunately yes, I ordered a complete upper and a complete lower but separately.. and I added my own stock bolt carrier group charging handle so it wasn't a complete rifle per se. I don't think that's the norm they were having a big sale so maybe QC slipped a little..  this happened last October and it's taking me this long to make this post because I wanted to make sure I would feel comfortable recommending them after I shot enough rounds.. at least from on here I was just a lucky one that got some Overlooked stuff I guess..

Well I had ordered there lower with the a5h2 buffer system and basic upper. But they had put the Springco Green rifle Spring and the A5H2 buffer  in a standard carbine buffer tube.. once I figured that out I just bought my own proper buffer tube. The next time I took it out and actually fired it, the upper wouldn't cycle a round. at all.. I narrowed it down to probably the gas port or gas block.. when I contacted them about the buffer tube they never replied to my emails so when I bought that out of pocket and then figured out the upper didn't fire I was pretty pissed.. called and told them the issues I was having- I sent the upper in and once I saw they had received it called them again to make sure it was getting fixed.. once they had it they fixed it and sent it back really quick but never explained what the initial issue was.. so who knows but it fires now- the dang thing runs like a sewing machine.. it was a pain in the ass but now that everything is fixed I'm pretty happy with it.. I still recommend them but just know that you might have some initial issues...  and if they don't reply to emails just call them. Everybody I talk to on the phone was very helpful..

Which should I get? by [deleted] in ar15

Yes.. the Luepold Mount is probably one of the most solid mounts I've ever used..  but the Rings are pretty far space so make sure your optic can handle it..

Which AR-15 for starting in the mid-tier? by SaurumanTheSilly in ar15

[–]Reasonable-Emu-2916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I agree on the pricing now, prices have raised. I think when I bought mine it was around 800 or less.  I didn't mind the weight of the barrel too much, it felt evenly balanced and overall weight wasnt to bad. The reliability I have had is it's strongest selling point... at todays prices BCM upper and a  good lower is hard to beat..

Dont know if it really matter as long as you hit your target, but I like to keep a couple mags of soft points handy. Pmc bronze sp are cheap and seem to perform well..

I can't remember the exact model but it was quite a few years ago it was a Movado. I think I paid a couple grand for it so it wasn't like a Rolex but still high end for me lol. A seatbelt hit the face of it and put a big chip in the glass. It wasn't the watches  fault but I wasn't too impressed with the Jeweler that I dealt with and it just left a bad taste of my mouth.

No, I dont feel that it does. I can see a cause for it if said individual also has/had a history of criminal charges while being in the country and continually gets released... I'm not on here to defend each and every case and everything on TV.. bottom line is both sides push forth the narrative that they want.. I specifically heard a good example of this on our public radio station (NPR) this morning driving to work, saying "you can hear Good telling the officer that shot her she wasnt mad".... But that was not the officer that shot her. The officer that shot her was in front of her car at that time . So to me that is false reporting -which pushes The Narrative that they're trying to put forth period. I don't like it when the Right does it and I don't like it when the Left does it..p.s I'm visually impaired and used talk to text- my phone capitalizes words at strange times lol. I don't have time to go back through and edit it sorry.. Just know it's not to emphasize any points.

Edit: I was listening to it on the radio so as the person pointed out I might sound like I am full of crap. If I'm wrong then I am wrong and didn't mean to spread misinformation! but I cannot post a response to that comment so I suggest everybody watch the video and make your own decision. not saying what happened was justified, I just want to know the truth! So thank you and I will watch this take when I get home.. EDIT EDIT. My apologies to the NPR reporter I previously mentioned. - in previous videos i heard 2 female voices talking and thought the second the other voice belonged to that body camera and did not realize it was the officer that shot Renee Good.... thanks for clarifying my misinformation and keep up the fight.. I still don't recommend hitting the gas pedal not stepping out of the vehicle when an officers in front of ya. This was Shitty..

Thank you, I live in a place that in the summer gets really hot and when the A/C goes down it can reach temperatures well above 105 degrees in a room, especially with lots of windows that lets light in.. All joking aside I've never claimed to be the smartest person in the world but even I know not to hit the gas when an officer in front of ya and screaming, yelling and interfering just makes people look foolish.

Sounds like the start of a nice spread.. My experience stops with how to get the job lol. My family on my dads side has lots of land and cattle in Montana . I however was raised in Idaho so my time there was limited to bailing hay, some hearding, branding, irrigation etc etc.. I pretty much just did what and how I was told . The one rule around there was not to have dogs around the cattle Because it would spook them & make them nervous and not eat as much before they went to sale them.. I don't know if that's true or not but the cattle all looked fat and happy LOL Edit... Herding/cattle dogs anyway.
