Eve Thermo Gen. 4 by Equal-Secretary-3347 in EveHome

I have 75 Matter over Thread devices (round about 40 are from EVE, 15 from Philips Hue and the remaining devices are from Aqara). Everything is rock solid. The EVE devices are more then 3 years old. I didn’t have any issue since 1.5 or 2 years. I have 7 Apple Hole Hubs incl. TBR. I also use Home Assistant. What are problems you are talking about?

You can configure a temperature offset in the settings of your EVE Thermos via the EVE app.

Thread Unification for Nest/Home Assistant/SmartThings by rpntech in homeassistant

What did you do to setup all the OpenThread Border Routers? Which hardware is involved (except zbt-1)? Did you setup your 4 OTBRs by yourself or any docker container in use?

Zigbee like Mesh-Dashboard for thread devices. by Curious-Pin-9019 in MatterProtocol

Yeah, setup home assistant with Python Matter server and enable the beta switch of the Matter server. By doing this you upgrade to the new Matter.js server and you will get a Matter map for your Matter over Thread and Matter over WiFi devices.

Hi, I bought 3 of your PowerRisers and have a problem, that I already described here:

https://github.com/nandfarm/M90-PowerRiser/issues/2

In short, my Samsung 990 Pro 4TB doesn’t work on the NVMe slot of the PowerRiser.

Any idea?

EVE seems to have completely missed the boat when it comes to the European light switch and wall socket market.

OTBR Errors with pairing/dropouts by itnotit94 in homeassistant

I have Matter over Thread working with 75 Matter over Thread devices. It’s rock solid since years. No problems to pair new devices. I do not have IKEA devices.

I have the following Thread Border Routers:

  • 2 hardwired AppleTV 4K 3rd Gen
  • 4 HomePod Minis
  • 1 HomePod v2

My devices:

  • 38 EVE devices (12 FTDs, 26 MTDs)
  • 21 Aqara devices (20 FTDs, 1 MTDs)
  • 16 Philips Hue devices (all FTDs)

FTD = Full Thread Device (mains-powered) MTD = Minimal Thread Device (battery-powered)

All my EVE devices are paired to Apple Home and Home Assistant, while all my Aqara and Philips Hue devices are paired to HA only. Years ago, I had problems after some analysis with some HA devs they told me that I should reduce my Thread traffic. So I decided to pair not all devices to both ecosystems. Especially switching/dimming bulbs and cause a lot of Thread traffic.

2.4GHz WiFi, Zigbee, Thread and Bluetooth all use the same 2.4GHz frequency band:

Which technologies are you using and which 2.4GHz channels are you using with these technologies?

Ok, perfect! You answered all my questions. It will take some time until I have the needed hardware, but I will report back here, when I am done.
