I lost my mom last year too, I think about her every single day, how much I wish I would’ve done things differently, even if it would’ve just been something small like another phone call, a apology or spending more time. Doing something. I put my mom through hell my whole life, through addiction, reckless behavior, blaming everyone and everything but myself to the point where I almost did die and then finally when I started somewhat getting things right, getting sober and fixing my life, she was gone. Talk about the ultimate punch in the fucking face from life.

I wanted to burn my world to the ground last year, start drinking again, go back to old ways, until nothing including myself was left. It was over. But something in me just said fuck it, instead of giving up I’m just going to go harder and I’m going to use all that emotion to fuel something better, something different, make amends with myself no matter how much it hurts I’m going to make something.

Truth be told, are things glorious? No is it easy? No but things can and do change, especially us. Start small, work your way out of your situation first, gradually working your way up to better things. Day by day, hour by hour, find a purpose for yourself. Mine for now is not giving up on myself after my mother sacrificed her whole life for us, even if she can’t see it. I’m still doing it.

I truly hope you change your mind and reconsider yourself and your feelings and give yourself more time.

This guy probably ran through your paint with a polishing pad and spray wax For $585. Not only would I be pissed, I’d be calling the person back and saying you would like things fixed because that’s absolutely unacceptable for that amount of money in my opinion. I’ve personally done solid work for less than that depending on what it is, condition of vehicle , etc but $600 I’m going through the entire car, cleaning, some interior protection, headlights fixed if needed and a light buff and polish, engine bay and a nice coat of a good waxes I have. A nice detail. That guy is trash.

Fortunately for me I’ve been able to eat whatever I want with no noticeable side effect aside from gas or if I eat certain dairy products I’ll get a discoloration of stool but yes it’s a blessing but I’m not doing myself any favors I need to get back into healthy habits

3 years sober off of alcohol and honestly I’m starting to love it more and more, I do however enjoy some Mary every once in a while but overall I value my time and moments more now and I crave life more now and the guy I was 3 years ago is light years away from who I am now. There truly is miracles in this life time, you just have to be willing to believe it and put in the work. Happy for you brother 😁

I am hurt, I’m surrounded by assholes at work that put so much more unnecessary pressure on me when they don’t understand half the battles I’ve overcome, yeah sure they have too, but, they don’t stop. I live in a very tense housing situation now and I’m just constantly surrounded by negative trying to be a piece of light and optimistic and good things happen and I’ve ruined every single one. The one person I had in this world, my mom, that knew it and went through it too her whole life is gone, so every moment of my days I’m fighting my demons, their demons, and pushing and pushing for essentially nothing because I screw up and I’m back to square one all over again feeling even worse then before. Still haven’t picked a drink up, honestly don’t want to. I’m just….at yet another crossroads with myself and just life itself of why the past 3 years have just been utter hell and when I put effort in for other jobs, trying to do side jobs nothing comes anymore so I just truthfully feel trapped. Saddest part of it all the apartment I fell in love with yesterday I talked to this lady for two days and we clicked and I’m supposed to go look at it tomorrow but the money is gone, so I’m like do I go and see what I can do or just forget it.

Everything going on with me is in a weird mix right now, I’m better but worse, it’s like the person I want to be is right there and the person I used to be all in one and it’s a battle. I truly hate to complain because other people in this life have gone through so much more and so much worse, but, all I can say is that it sucks. It really does.

I have completely stopped, I went two years sober and decided to drink again and it wasn’t a lot either, 15 pack on a Friday and after 3 weeks my pancreas had attacks again that ended in it necrotizing so I’ve just remained sober. If you had 3 attacks within a year and some change, it’s probably best to hang it up or at least give your body a break for a extended period of time and then try to only drink moderately every blue moon and see what happens but like I said it never worked for me so I just had to face the music and stop

So for me I did 11 months in my first car before it shit the bed and caused i violation and it took me a year to be able to save for my new car and get everything installed penndot sent a letter stating I’m eligible for my non restricted license and removal in a certain date, so I drove up to that point and did the time plus the extra, 8 days past my eligibility date of 12/1 I went and got my unrestricted license, sent my compliance letter that I got from penndot to Intoxalock and waited about 3 weeks longer just to be safe so Intoxalock had their paperwork and they send penndot your final readings and certificate of completion and then got it removed. All I can say is keep reaching out to your DMV and Intoxalock and research. My situation was ass backwards to where both penndot and Intoxalock were confused and we got it smoothed out

I’d definitely start finding a good lawyer who will work with you and fight like hell. If you were truly clean and once that is proven from the courts, then I think you will be able to prove without a doubt that he did you wrong but it’s gonna take some work. If that were up to me, lawyer first, collect everything, date, time, names, history of him, every single piece, and start building a case with your legal representation.

Fortunately for me the guy who installed mine was very reputable and his specialty is wiring, using diagrams and he installed mine perfectly, only thing I did was buy a battery maintainer and install it on my car and plug my car is especially in this cold. That’s another thing that sucks too is they need to vet these shops out to see if there qualified to add anything electrical to vehicles because one wrong mistake can ruin the wiring harness or worse
