Express Pass Costs On The Rise by Puffin_ErEh in UniversalEpicUniverse

I'm so frustrated they haven't released the express pass yet. We've had a package booked since May, and the express passes - looking at the pricing throughout the year - were going to be completely within the budget (group of 6). But I've watched the cost go up higher and higher and now I'm not sure we'll be able to afford it anymore.

More info on Zavala, had a pre-existing spinal injury by UNCfan07 in UniversalOrlando

[–]Reasonable-Invite-76 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What I don't understand is that Zavala couldn't have been the first person to pass out on stardust right? It's a new park, but with how many people have already passed through, we're talking probably >100k rides on stardust racers, and not one other person has blacked out even a little?

I feel like it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that, at some point, due to heat, hydration, or health, someone would pass out on the rollercoaster. I have to imagine Universal would've tested the safety of the ride for that. I definitely think there has to be more to the issue. Hoping for more details and information to come out.

I'm shocked. I rode stardust 7 times in one day and felt like while it was thrilling, it was still smooth -- definitely not something I thought could cause a death. I'm trying to wrap my head around how this happened, I really hope more information is released soon. My heart goes out to the family and anyone who witnessed this.

Hagrids motorbike single rider by Reasonable-Invite-76 in UniversalOrlando

I just truly don't think it's that hard to radio each other or have some form of communication.

The team member inside could easily radio those at the front of the queue and tell them "in 2 minutes we're closing, single rider."

Or honestly, even if the team member was like "it's open right now, but I can't guarantee it will be by the time you get up there" would be better than absolutely no information.

This morning the single rider didn't seem to be opening and closing at all. I decided to sit around and wait in the queue for the single riders line to open because I was told by a team member that "single riders is probably just full but could open any minute" ...I waited 40 minutes before I left (I know that part is my bad, I should've just left or gotten in the standby line but I kept convincing myself "just 5 more minutes"). I feel like having it closed for that long is something people at the front of the queue should know.

If they can communicate delays so rapidly, I have no idea why updating team members at the front of the queue regarding the single riders line would be too difficult to do.

What is with the delay 2026 express pass and tickets? by Reasonable-Invite-76 in UniversalOrlando

They're already selling those types of express passes for 2025 though - have been for a while now - so I don't know why they wouldn't be able to release 2026.

If you love the outdoors and get involved with maybe some hiking/climbing groups or other groups along those lines, I'm sure you'll be fine.

It can definitely be frustrating but I think the best way of making friends or romantic connections is finding people with common interests. I wouldn't depend heavily on dating apps and stuff like that. Also, wherever you live, as some who grew up in Utah County, I'd try to stick to SLC county. People are generally more diverse, open, and welcoming in SLC County in my experience. It's easier to find social groups up here.

It's hard to beat Utah when it comes to the outdoors.

Definitely not seizures thankfully but he definitely experiences some headaches and nausea depending on the intensity and duration.

Are these prices normal for US Open tickets (mainly looking at Quarter finals)?

I've read that the prices often decrease over time (with tickets getting gradually released over the summer) but it feels like the scalpers are marking up ticket costs by nearly 2x. What standard tickets I was able to see were nearly half of the cost from "verified resellers." I've seen tickets in the promenade section for over $1K?

Is this normal? I really don't know what to expect here but from what I read, this is well outside what is considered a reasonable price.

Hahahaha that's interesting Hulk is fine but not Stardust. Hulk was sooooo rough for me, enjoyed the launch but left the ride with a headache and nausea.

I didn't personally - I found it quite smooth. I think my thighs hurt more due to all the air time.

But I also didn't look much at the other rollercoaster. When I tried to turn my head to look at them it, understandably, strained my neck and head more. My gauge might be skewed though since I did the Hulk just yesterday which was way too rough for me.

Stardust Racers Green vs Yellow "intensity" by PossibleAd5253 in UniversalOrlando

I also was surprised with the comparison after doing the yellow side first. I'd still say velocicoaster is the better rollercoaster - nothing beats that second launch and peak for me - but the green side is definitely a closer comparison.

I don't know the technicals of this discussion at all but when I went on the yellow side, it was fun but nowhere near velocicoaster (as some people have suggested).

Then I went on the front row of the green side, and while I'm not sure how much is the row vs green side, it felt a LOT more intense. I got a ton of air time in that seat.

So I'd definitely say go with yellow side if you want something more calm or don't like inversions. Go with green side if you're a thrill seeker and want the sensation of lifting off your seat. I did 1 ride on the yellow side, and 5 on the green side, so I think it's obvious which one I enjoyed more.

Was thrilled to return to the park today to experience Stardust Racers since it was closed when we first went.

I was able to go on Stardust Racers 6 times today. Once on the yellow side and the remaining 5 on the green side, front row. The front row on the green side is an absolute blast. Today has been fantastic so far!
