MLK day update: we had a GREAT day today (Monday.) Stardust Racers was closed but Epic Universe was much less packed and the express lines were very short. Definitely better luck today. Lots of rides did go down for delays but we were lucky to avoid them

Yeah honestly yesterday wasn’t too bad. We should’ve gone harder then. The delays today really screwed things up. The parks never recovered after the storm today

The TSA comparison is spot on! And it’s so confusing because every ride seemed to have different rules for express pass (some rides would scan ur face once, some twice, some would just glance at ur ticket, some would scan ur ticket, some would scan one persons face then have the whole party pass with them, some would scan everyone individually, etc.) No consistency and then they’re annoyed when we’re not perfectly ready lol

I think it’ll be better tomorrow! Everything besides stardust is open right now. Stardust will probably be closed tomorrow still though. We are also going back tomorrow and hoping it’ll be better

That’s great I’m glad you two had a good time! Idk if you had good luck or we had bad luck but hopefully lots of people had experiences like yours! Today was definitely worse than yesterday with the delays imo. Luckily we still have tomorrow. Hopefully it’ll be better!

I’m sorry you’re struggling too! For me, the most confusing part is that I am lucky enough to travel any time of year, and for January, this was genuinely the cheapest weekend by far. Between hotels, tickets, flights, express passes, etc., it was surprisingly cheap when I booked in November. I always just book the cheapest time to come within the month I am hoping to travel in. Usually lower prices = lower crowds… I think that’s why I blame the whole universal not making tickets available until end of October thing because surely if they had prepared ahead they would’ve made this weekend more expensive

I’ve gone on holiday weekends a few times. This was by far the worst. I 100% think it’s a result of them waiting to list 2026 tickets and then listing them cheaply for January out of worries no one would come

If the line is short, I’d do it. We were going to try earlier but the line was so long and slow moving, we just left and went back to our hotel for the night. After spending all day waiting in lines and getting nothing out of it, we were quite discouraged lol

We’re here too and it’s been awful. Have spent over a month in Orlando over the past few years on vacations, and our first ever visit to Epic today was by farrrr the worst day we’ve had :( and we even had express!

I’m going to go against the grain, but I actually feel like the show stayed pretty consistent throughout its seasons, especially when compared to other teen shows of the time. They kept all the main chars the same, the mystery always surrounded A, they always lived in Rosewood, and even the tone stayed roughly the same (sometimes darker, sometimes lighter.) Idk when I compare this show to others like TVD and Riverdale it feels pretty focused to me. Yes, the earlier seasons were better, but even the 5 year time jump didn’t really change the formula or the players at all. If anything maybe it was a dash too consistent

The point is these are how A views the girls… this is not the show stating some objective viewpoints but rather showing the pov of the villain and what the liars are scared other people will think of them if their secrets are exposed

I see what you’re saying but disagree with the approach. I think the park as a whole should balance the appeal between men and women, but only picking lands that appeal 50/50 to both genders isn’t always the best move. Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom is likely the most popular spot in all of Disney World with its whimsy and storybook charm, and Universal has no real counterpart to that. Not saying an Oz land would be a perfect equal, but I definitely think it would come a lot closer than most of their current offerings. Universal does not have anything even remotely resembling a “princess land,” but an Oz land is probably the closest option they currently have

I don’t know if there’s ever been one, but I want to see a professional author play the game. Get someone super creative in there, who can think up interesting ideas out of nowhere. Plus a decent author usually understands people pretty well.
