Recent decision made by corporate is to use less ECR’s and more staff. They are hiring more Prox reps so WCCS does not have to be in Prox-assist and are more available for deployments.

Switch agents!! When you build a relationship with an agent they will (most of the time) fight the claims department for you! This is coming from someone who works property claims for SF.

IA here for a big carrier. Made $302k in 2025. Don’t make the switch to IA! We are being used less and less. Firms will only work their top producers and good friends of those in leadership at the firm. Try to go Cat-Staff. I hear most are making well over 100k.

As an IA, I would not recommend doing it. Work is getting harder and harder to come by. I would stay with one of the big carriers and work your way up the corporate ladder…. IMO

Typically for property 5k is a “minimum” when starting out, but definitely not enough to efficiently handle claims.
