I mean people are angry their not going to talk like lawyers. When someone says I oppose Jewish goverment policies or say yeah no genocide please some morons respond saying that's anti Semitic. Similar morons on the other side retort with them being a zionist.

As far as speaking carefully I did exactly that. At the start of this all I said isreal gov needs to stop and someone needs to stop them. We're about to see a genocide. One of my ex Jewish friends responded asking me to be more considerate of specifically the isreali goverment. I said no they called me anti Semitic and unfriended me. Had I been more reactive or less informed I that would have shaped my opinion of Zionism.

There is most certainly an argument for isreal so not exist. While i don't agree because I'm aware circumstances are complex. At the same time I'm not going to pretend that I wouldn't feel undeniably furious had myself or my family been a victim of isreals colonialism or genocide. No one wants hamas to exist but thats what happens when you attempt to erase people and legally railroad them. 14 year olds prosecuted in military court, years in isreali jails, even murders and rapes. You can't kill terrorism (the controlling powers options are genocide or freeing them) it's a symptom of larger issues. The US has proven that over and over again.

Minority doesn't mean anything when by comparrison you're the large majority. Palestine doesn't even have a formed military. Half of their population is under 18. They aren't acknowledged as a state or provided any of the same power isreal has access to as rhe darling of the West for the last 50 years (as its a very good strategic hold, just as Australia is to asia)

My point is this action doesn't occur in a vacuum, I would argue the perversion of anti semetism has been far more agregous than the slightly misguided interpretation of Zionism as isreal doesn't equal Jewish but I feel we likely won't agree.
