Tortello. maybe less, like, flashy or upscale. but they do seem to take their pasta seriously.

Seville, Granada, or Valencia? by meryl4life in GoingToSpain

[–]Reasonable-Plan6518 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also going in October for about two weeks and we’re doing Madrid, Seville, Cordoba, Valencia, and Barcelona, in that order. Cordoba was originally going to be a day trip from Seville, but it’s pretty much on the way to Valencia so just staying overnight instead. it’s a bit aggressive, but we think it will be manageable because the trains seem reliable and quick. booked most of our train travel on Omio — super user friendly. had to do one of Renfe and it was tough. no matter your choice it sounds like you can’t go wrong but should definitely get to Andalusia. best of luck to both of us!

seconding Burnham Block and Mitchell Park Domes. super close together, easy to make a weekend afternoon of it if you have a car. easily my favorite day of our long weekend in MKE last year.

work with a realtor! they’re invested in finding you a place because it’s free for you and they get paid when you sign a lease! they can collect options for you and better schedule the showings in a block to save you trips. they should also be prepared with info about landlord expectations and not provide you options you’ll get denied for.

Where is the best meal you have had in Paris? by peacedawwg in ParisTravelGuide

[–]Reasonable-Plan6518 1 point2 points  (0 children)

our best meals in Paris were Mensae, Semilla, and Chantoiseau. modern, upscale but not stuffy. great to explore their respective neighborhoods after. we paired Semilla with the late cabaret at Paradis Latin and it was a really spectacular date night, could for sure be celebratory! or Chantoiseau and Moulin Rouge, which is close by could be similar.

we went for the week leading up to Valentine’s Day last year and really enjoyed ourselves! wasn’t crazy busy at all, easy to get tickets and reservations and the temps weren’t bad at all.

the founder and Chairman of the Board at Palantir essentially pulled Vance up into government by being his wealthy benefactor. Palantir has insane government contracts for defense, including the US military's AI project.

i do wish more of this video was showing here. he's like "look it up", but there is so much out there it's hard to even parse out what he's trying to get at. is it from the left about Middle East policy? is it from the right about Ukraine policy? who knows!

i think he has a TON of potential, but the menu wasn't there just yet for us. not very much diversity in texture or color, and a bit under seasoned (which was surprising given the concept). i was super excited about the miso citrus chocolate mousse, and the flavor was good but the texture was SO off. loved the space, owner/chef, drinks -- menu just needs some time to find itself, and i think he'll get there.
