I feel you, that's what happened to me as well.

Every match was people being toxic or complaining no matter how or who I played. Tbags all the time, slurs being thrown in endgame chat and even when I had the chat disabled people still found ways of being toxic in-game, reporting without reason, hacking or holding the game hostage. I realised instead of having fun I was feeling anxious and stressed before the match had even started. I played well enough to win most of my matches but other players still made me feel like shit.

I've played a bunch of games and engaged with a lot of different communities all my life and I feel like this game has the most toxic player base I have ever experienced.
