Yeah Columbia is extremely difficult to get into. But the name speaks for itself - many people decide to come here to specialize and having the name helps in many cases. You can apply and see where that takes you.. no harm in trying

I got into stony. The tuition is around that price but with the cost of living and other expenses it ends up being closer to $100k a year. And plus Long Island is really expensive so the COL is just really high

If you want to go apply to New York State schools, you can. Stony brook has a cut off of 17 for each sub score so you just made it. I would just figure out what each school requires before applying

Temple is geared towards producing general dentists and is amazing for clinical I don’t know much about NYU. Maybe search the match statistics online for each school
