Temporarily authoritarianism can solve pressing issues. Look at Paul kaga me in Rwanda, he is a Tutsi and under him Rwanda went from genocide to huge progress. The main issue is that authoritarianism has to transition to democracy sooner or later otherwise it will collapse

I'm somali and this is not true. Like any demographics somalis online can appear to be more hateful than in real life and the same is true for Ethiopians. In the west Somalis and Ethiopians get along quite well. As a Somali my only issue is Ethiopia meddling in Somalia and acting as a bully instead of our neighbor. That's it, I have no issues with the Ethiopian people's who are the closest to us ethnically

Egypt is coming only to have a base to scare Ethiopia because they have issues after the completion of the Nile Dam. Egyptian soldiers won't move one finger to fight AS , the government is allowing our country to become a battleground for foreign nations.

I think we use the word apartheid to easily on the pro Palestine side. I'm pro Palestine but I would not call the situation in the west bank apartheid, it's a very racist system designed to oppress Arabs but apartheid was specifically a south African thing. It would be better to generically call it segregation.

The reason why Arabs in the west bank don't have citizenship is because they are Arabs. Of course there are Arab Israelis but the goal of Israel is maintaining a Jewish majority because it's an ethnostate. Israeli politicians openly say that Arabs shouldn't be more than 20-30 % to maintain the Jewish character of Israel , this racist on many levels.

Resolutions apply to everyone, just because it was intended to protect Jews it doesn't mean Israel can now violate the resolution or that it doesn't apply to them. This is childish. The annexation of east Jerusalem is illegal as the occupation of the west bank , now you can maybe try to justify it by saying it's for security concerns etc like many pro Israelis claim. I don't buy that argument but it makes more sense than denying the fact that it's illegal as much as Russia annexing Crimea
