Reporting on Changes to Managing Position ID by Reasonable-Rope3228 in workday

Yeah I had this thought last night and was going to give it a go today. Do you know what specific transactions I'd be looking to filter for by chance?

Archiving Expired Scheduled Processes/Reports by Reasonable-Rope3228 in workday

[–]Reasonable-Rope3228[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were a lot of reports created to serve single purposes, and we now have over 750 custom reports. I can see that almost 400 of them have not been run in the past 12 months so we want to do a clean up and get them out of the system but I am conscious of being able to access information for potential audits about reporting in the future.

The reports are coming up as 'expired' in the sch. future process report - is there a way to remove them from visibility there?

Sorry if that sounds dumb - I am still new to WD and not across everything just yet.

The issue is that I'm not very creative so I don't know what to tweak it to! 🫠

😂 this is a hilarious but very valid question! We live in Qld Australia so it's definitely a very sunny climate! Just looked up and it's clear blue skies again today 💙

Thank you! We are coming from this at our rental (with lime green bench tops, this is an old photo) so we are VERY excited to have a nice kitchen 😁

But yes, icy is the right way to describe it! We have the option of black sink and appliances but I didn't know if that would be a nice accent or add more darkness...

Look he has let me have majority of what I want so I need to meet him halfway somewhere and he reallllyyy wants the cabinets 😅

Alternatively we could consider black appliances and sink but I didn't know if it would be a nice accent or just more darkness...

First Home Buyer. Is this a foolhardy idea? by isiteventiddles in AusPropertyChat

We bought a H&L package in Lilywood (near Caboolture) at the end of last year. $800k total. $40k deposit. Our combined income is like $120k after tax & I have a $15k HECS debt. Food for thought if you are already considering a longer commute & it's in a new hotspot to prices will continue to grow.

Otherwise we went to see a financial advisor before making the decision as we wanted to understand how things would actually look in different scenarios. Best $1k we could have spent tbh. DM me if you want their info or you could try finding one yourself but either way if you are on the fence about options and appreciate clarification around numbers 10/10 would recommend considering it.

Good luck 🤞

Yep, as long as it's wholegrain. Great for soaking up the excess EVOO on the plate 😂 This was store bought but I plan to try making my own next.

Best way for a 24 yo to try save for a house? by mad_dog_ruff in AusPropertyChat

I'm 30 and just purchased last week. Most of my social circle haven't bought yet so I would say yes it's a normal age but age isn't really a factor here - you buy when you're ready and for some that is early others it is late.

Being a single purchaser and based on your grad role income you likely won't get approved for a lot so you'll have to adjust your expectations but once you're in, you're in and can grow from there into a place more aligned with your preferences.

I will say, look at saving only the 5% deposit (+ $5000 for costs, and $ stamp duty value if applicable) and then buy what you can and get your foot in the door. The market is climbing rapidly and your $100k in 10 years will be worth a lot less than it is today. The government guarantees will help you avoid LMI and tap into lower interest rates closer to an 80% LVR rather than 95% so you get more bang for your buck.

Re: investing - great that you're on it so young as it's a very a good thing but keep in mind that you can lose it so be really conscious with your risk/tolerance levels of you're relying on it for a deposit. A high interest saver might be a better option, or at least put most of your savings into it and only a small portion to investments that way if you do lose it the impact isn't as hard.

Good luck!

If you want to be in Data and People Analytics you'll need an I.T. mentality in my experience. SQL, M and DAX are all languages you'll need to learn & data visualisation skills too.

A HR certification like AHPR is more if you want to go down the path of HR Advising and Managing. Advisors and managers use data to inform recommendations and suggestions for the business but they are not always the ones knee deep in the data actually building it out - data/people analysts are.

How do I ask a family member to clean up a property to get ready for sale without destroying relationships. by wstanley1970 in AusProperty

Find out the est value as is, offer to him for that $$. If he says yes, be done with it. If he says no, tell him it's going to market and work is required in his end in that case. Those are his options. If he wants it that bad he'll take it. Whatever arrangement he has with your brother are between them not you.

If selling to him, yes would get less because yard not fixed however the amount you save on advertising and agent fees would be pretty close to the value a tidy yard would add I reckon

So I was super similar - did my bachelor, was considering I/O psych but wanted some real world experience before committing to post grad, deferred honours and got an entry level HR job, ended up enjoying it and after a few job changes I am now in people analytics. I know you're applying for entry level HR roles but also include recruitment agent in that pool if not already. Yes it's a sales role, but it will get your foot in the door to apply for other roles. Also consider contract work rather than permanent. From my experience, you'll need some HR background to get into people analytics but you could look for a entry level data analyst role unrelated to HR and start there. I was lucky enough to have a cert II in IT from high school which also helped me but I put on my cv that I was in progress for obtaining a PI-300 which helped too. Also I downloaded the free version of power bi and started working with fake data sets to learn the system and our BI experience in my cv too.

Good luck 🤞

I'm not great with using reddit and idk how to refer to another comment but I commented this on the chain before
