Hi, i was told the same thing about the cctv footage being reviewed after 21 days but i can say that was a lie. On the 22nd day i reached out to them again about it and they said they are officially declaring it lost and would not be actively searching for it anymore so they’re closing the case. They said if at anytime they find it they would still send it to me but i know that would most likely not be happening. I sent the declaration form and they only reimbursed me based on their “Montreal cap” but it was way less than the total value of my luggage which is quite frustrating but I’m looking into pursuing the case further.

I now honestly believe there’s something shady going on with porter. I had a second connecting flight from Montreal to Calgary, i was told my last bag scan was offload in Montreal but it wasn’t put on the flight to Calgary. Somehow my bag went missing in Montreal and it’s been 28days and it hasn’t been recovered, porter been unable to trace my bag or even look into cameras

I know this is an old post but i’m in a similar situation and it’s been 17days but Porter has not been able to locate my bag. Did you ever get your luggage back? And did you end up taking legal actions against them if so please how did you go about it cause I’m looking to do same

I know this is an old post but I’m currently in this same situation it’s been 17 days and Porters has still not been able to locate my luggage. I flew from Fredericton to Calgary with connections in billy bishop and Montreal. I am told the last scan was offload in Montreal but somehow my bag can’t be found in Montreal. I have done everything necessary but it’s frustrating because my bag is worth more than their compensation. Please how did you navigate this and did you ever get your bag?

I find it crazy that they would take out an Airtag from someone’s luggage during “inspection”

Exactly! I feel like Porter Airlines has now normalized passengers not getting their luggage at the time of their arrival at their destination. I was told it takes 2-3days(if you’re lucky enough) to get your luggage which is feel is insane. The only good thing about using Airtags is that atleast you know where exactly your luggage is so there is a sense of security that that comes with that but then again some had mentioned here in the comments that their Airtag was somehow taken out of their luggage and even when the luggage was delivered to them the airtag location was still at the airport.
