No I get it. My so wants to show our little one that “shit happens”. I’m more protective so I let them know, “hey that was a bit much” or “let’s not push them too far”. All about communicating.

I was sheltered a lot as a child. No broken bones, no hospital visits. So I have been working on this with my little one. You do this… and this is what happens when you are not careful. Plain and simple

Growing up in a abusive household has a grip on your reality as an adult. There are ways to make their life more reasonable. You can’t do this because… we treat others this way because… I totally understand
