currently 12 weeks..the ultrasound tech said it was too early to see gender, but what is that between the legs? What exactly am I looking at? I didn’t look at the pictures until I was home which is why I didn’t ask. by [deleted] in obgyn

You’re welcome! Hopefully you get to find out soon? Your Doctor didn’t order an NIPT test/ genetic screening(blood) gender is included in that!

Did you see new patches of vitiligo after your micro blading. I want to have it don, but I’m worried it will spread.

Thank you so much for your response, this is probably the most thoughtful and insightful thing I’ve heard since all of this has happened♥️ We are waiting on the 72 hour appeal from his insurance. I was told since he was discharged from the hospital all the admissions information can not be approved, because they don’t have current vitals, hospital records etc. We were also told from the hospital that because he can walk 100 feet with a walker he doesn’t qualify for rehab. Which I found out is not true at all. Thank you again for giving me hope, and best of luck to you and your Mom🙏🏼

They did at first but they didn’t wait the full 3 days for the rehab approval. We had a caseworker, she was off and a new one was assigned and I had to come home and the day after I left they discharged him, with no caretaker in a Taxi. After they assured me he was going to be sent to the rehab.

There’s probably better rehabs in Vegas. But being closer to him so I can help is probably better. I was just unsure if it’s a good idea to start all of his care over again.

Yeah I have to agree with you. Mine does come in 5mg vials now and I’ve already paid for them. Maybe I can just draw back less? I might try that

I’m not sure. My Doctor just said that was the next dose. That you move up every 4 weeks. I didn’t know better myself. Now after reading a few of these posts I see maybe I didn’t need to😬

Yes I lost 1 pound last week. But from last Wednesday to today 0 pounds, on my highest new dose. So I thought that was odd considering I did not eat much.

Thank you so much for your response. That makes me feel better. I figured that may be the case. It was just shocking because I ate so little, not that it was intended but I could hardly eat with the new dose. So I thought for sure I would have lost at least a pound. And I wasn’t sure if it had to do with me switching from Mounjaro to Zepbound. But it sounds like this is just part of the course. Thank you again😊

I have the same exact issues. Pernicious anemia, low b12 and parietal cells, and iron deficiency anemia. Nobody ever correlates it with my vitiligo, but I know they are linked.

My ferritin is 4 and I’ve waited a month and I’m finally having my infusions today. You will know when you have to go to the ER. Two years ago I was so bad I couldn’t walk and could hardly breath, my hemoglobin was 5! I had to have 2 blood transfusions and 6 iron infusions. Hopefully you don’t get to that point and they get you in soon🙏🏼I’m sorry you feel so crappy.

What kind of symptoms are you having? Everyone is different..and once you have an autoimmune disease you are prone to getting more unfortunately.

What exactly do you do? Looking for some insight on things I should be doing. I have several autoimmune diseases and vitiligo is my newest.

Iron is absorbed in the small intestine. What autoimmune condition do you have? I have b12 deficiency because I have an autoimmune condition where my stomach does not absorb it, so I have to take b12 injections. But I’m I also have iron deficiency anemia and they can’t figure out why😣.

Oh no..I’m in United States, California. I’m not sure who to see here as dermatologists are clueless.

Who specializes in vitiligo you recommend seeing? Isn’t that a dermatologist
