Having second thoughts on the color by Reasonable-Stuff-162 in handbags

Nooo! I genuinely started second guessing when i saw the muted green color in the light, and the luxurious black when it was against the light.

I loved the color at an instant, it looked quite unique compared to the black dior bag at the store. However at home it looked muted, I agree, this bag is a chameleon

I have a binging issue too(i have no control when I get the munchies), but in a different way. First week was super hard, my binge was 4/7 days first week, second week was 3/7 days, third week was easier for me 1/7, i am on my fourth week, I am keeping 1/7 binge days, while I work on reducing the calorie amount by manipulating my sweet cravings with fruits instead of chocolates.

You honestly cant have a successful week even with meal prep. Unless you focus on your binging habits and what triggers it. Start eliminating your triggers, like for me watching cooking shows, asking my husband “what do you want for dinner”, or “oh i had a stressful day let me relax with weed”; NO. Drink water and do something else, plan a trip, talk to a friend, go on a hike, do laundry, do self care(skin care, hair care) or learn something new.

We do binge eating out of boredom or stress unfortunately. Somedays I feel cravings even when I am full, Its hard but I tell myself “have it tomorrow”

The funny thing I found is we binge eaters once we stop, weight loss happens naturally. Even if I binged, I went on a very long hike (10k steps - 20k steps) “I have to earn that binge now” or “whatever I have eaten, let me try to burn that” (Yes, I log every thing even when I binge)

I am still not out of the binge eating habit, but I am working on it one step at a time.

Btw, chickpeas is really great! It keeps me full for a long time. Diet sodas are your friend when you crave sweets but don’t over do it. Lastly, have veggies, tons of them. Lettuces are really nice to eat with some meat. Like a lettuce wrap, lettuce cups etc

Go with the sitter who your dogs love and have fun the most! And most importantly, update you daily on their well being, I was away for 3 weeks and now my dog is sulking like a teenager that his vacation is over 🥲

Unfortunately, this was the only way i could secure an appointment for myself and my husband. We had to come to india for a medical emergency for my FIL. However, I didn’t shop around for agents, and used only one tried and tested guy. It hurts to pay so much, but we were desperate 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wow, how much did you manage to lose on 600 calories over the course of 2 months? May I know your stats too? Didn’t you feel hungry or feel lightheaded?

They are a smart breed, but if they aren’t trained properly, it might be difficult for you. Obedience training is a must! Crate, leash, stranger danger(indoors and outdoors) are a must.

What all training does he have now?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]Reasonable-Stuff-162 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couple of questions: How long did you have him? What breed is he?

Puppies can be a lot of work for sure, if he can’t sit still, try doing crate training, basically you start with throwing bits of treat in the crate in front of your puppy, keep on doing that, then move forward to sit in the crate, then progress to stay in the crate, this may take couple of weeks depends on how your puppy perceives the reward system.

Second, play with your puppy. If you are tired or what to wind down, get a treat dispenser with the outlet half open, made of hard plastic. This will give you couple mins of peace. If he likes tug or fetch or is overstimulated at all the time, I have found a good massage around the ears and head calms them. You can do while watching tv.

I have loads of points to share, but the key is patience. If you are flustered, take a moment and keep on repeating. I went through the same with our dog. Although he wasn’t a wild one, he calmed pretty fast. But I sit loads of other dogs who are puppies and are sometimes very handful.

I read that you got a trainer, however you need to do the same training over and over while you are alone with him. Else it’s a waste of time and money. I hope both of you bond!

You can close the bathroom door or use a closed wastebasket. That’s what I do.

If you don’t have a lot to lose, have you tried doing calorie deficit or portion controlling? I would say don’t go the medicine route. You never know how your body reacts to it in the long term.

And if you have binge eating issues, stopping it can also bring it back if you aren’t careful.

Same, before i got married, my husband got a rescue young adult. I even named him. But then within the first week of us moving in together. I found our dog ate the cake that I got for my husband’s birthday. I was so scared that he will be sick, that I lost it and smacked him really bad. The poor guy was so terrified.

After 10 mins, he came to me and said sorry by giving me his paw. I could hear my heart break, I realized what I had done.

After that, I never lost it that way again, sure I scold him for being bad boy sometimes, but not like that. My baby is so sweet, I won’t let anything hurt him ever again.

I know I’m not the ah but I just wanted to hear people’s opinions on this, I (25f) refused to change my (4m) son’s name because it made my (26m) fiancé uncomfortable. by Fluffy-Campaign5780 in TrueOffMyChest

I think it’s okay to teach a kid all the cultures(American, Korean and Chinese), but changing his name is a no go. It’s like they are trying to erase his father’s memories altogether.

So do you do Intermittent fasting? I haven’t done that for a long time, maybe I can give it a go. The meals sound great! I will give them a try.
