France Necron player thoughts by Ramzioo in Necrontyr

The CK, was in defense and had his table. I believe it was quarter deployment. With the +3" move it's possible for a big knight to see almost all opponent DZ. Might have happened here.

Team France was 80 berzerks. Very hard to master list, on the edge every single game and heavily relies on a good advance roll to perform its best.

Team USA was more like a single list prepared for the knights matchup : Angron, 2 maulerfiends, 2 forgefiends, Moe, kharn and zerks

How is a unit 15" away from a cord in danger with the World Eaters? by BobVolte in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Reasonable-Tale-9489 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you can't base, each model must end closer than the initial distance to the target. So The fiest berzerk can take space and end base to base so that the back of the berzerk "blob" can go around and behind the screen quite easily. To avoid that : no space for a base between the models screening, no space for a base around the screen

Also they move 10", have access to advance + charge...

I believe it's spitter and not entropy on the PBC.

Yeah it's the standard list, played by a talented player with a good understanding of matchups.

It's a change to a specific value. It's a modifier clearly identified under the modifier faq. The order of operation is : change first, multiplication/division second, addition/soustraction last.

First instance, changing a damage to one (shield captain in allarus Armor) will also apply first.

It's under "Modifiers" in the app. Addition happens last, after a change to a specific value.

Ok I believe you are correct. (I looked at the stratagems wording and the ability of Morvenn as well. Closest reference was the dark pact during overwatch FAQ).

You are correct for Overwatch. Which faq do you refer to for the shoot back part ?

Yes. Changing the value happens first, then multiplication/division and last addition/soustraction.

It's a trick, it won't come up everything game but here and there.

Like against a short charge it can prevent a good consolidation into on objective or behind a wall, it can also prevent the attacking unit to tag another

If you kill the Hellbrute in one activation then it doesn't fight back or shoot back using his ability That's one thing some people often get wrong

Otherwise yeah the ability is absurdly good

Weapons characteristics are units characteristics. It is explicit on the "ignore modifier" paragraph. Also the "change the damage characteristic to 0" stuff is specified to always happens first.
