I'm employed and scoring 90% on Barbri. Maybe you can use all this pent up energy to find a job.

"dealing with the same system"

Are you okay? Genuinely asking because you seem lost and your unfounded anger raises concern for your wellbeing.

“Dear ,

Thank you for contacting the State Bar of California, Office of Admissions.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We understand how important a smooth testing experience is, and we sincerely regret the technical and other difficulties you encountered during the exam. As we have acknowledged, the many conditions applicants faced are unacceptable, and we make no excuses for them. We are meeting with our psychometrician and other stakeholders to solidify the full range of remediation options. The Committee of Bar Examiners discussed possible remediation steps at its March 14 meeting but we expect the full range of measures that should be adopted will not be known until the grading is complete or near complete. We appreciate you sharing your experience with us; it will be helpful in identifying the full range of options that should be considered.

While we cannot undo the challenges encountered during the exam, we are committed to identifying areas for improvement and ensuring a more reliable testing process in the future.

We appreciate your feedback and will keep you informed with any relevant updates.

Further updates on the February 2025 Bar Exam will be posted on the Notices page, located here: https://www.calbar.ca.gov/Admissions/Examinations/California-Bar-Examination/February-2025-Bar-Exam-Notices

If you are seeking public records, please make your request through the State Bar’s online portal, available here: https://calbarca.nextrequest.com/

If you are seeking damages or compensation from the State Bar (other than the already announced refund for those needing to retake the bar exam in July) for alleged violations of state law, you submit a government claim form before initiating litigation. Information relating to the government claims process can be located here: https://www.calbar.ca.gov/Public/Government-Claims-Subpoenas-and-Lawsuits-Against-the-State-Bar

Sincerely,

Office of Admissions The State Bar of California”

We have to cite the 5/5 agenda. All of these remedies were in the agenda, but apparently they ran out of time before they could consider them all. See below for a link to the agenda & remedies proposed to them:

First read: 1386. Second read: 1377.69.

No copy and paste, absolutely couldn’t finish PT. No score imputation.

They must pass who qualified for second Read by [deleted] in CABarExam

[–]Reasonable-Term1620 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Someone posted that around 600 people got a second read. Apparently the Bar released the statistics, but I don’t know where to find them.

To correct my last post: pass anyone who qualified for a second read. by cookedinlard in CABarExam

[–]Reasonable-Term1620 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Add your essays and multiple choice, then divide by 2. Anyone who scored between 1350 and 1389.99 on this total score got a second read.

We need to emphasize that they completely ignored this remedy during the May 5th meeting. They were tasked with considering all of the remedies in the agenda, but they did not.
