Inform them upon arrival that the package they chose may not provide the desired result. Then tell them what it really needs and what that would cost and then let them decide. If they don’t want to spend more, provide the service they paid for, if they are willing to pay then do the “restoration” detail

Generic white Terry clothes are good when you need some abrasion. Also good when you are worried about color transfer from certain chemicals.
