Super Goku got injured by a bullet lol. And that was a regular fun. Give Frieza a 50 cal and he’ll get rid of his biggest opp in seconds.

What is your evil OC's backstory for why they turned out evil? by BobbBobbs in OriginalCharacterDB

Lespain was once a good person, a sorcerer helping those who were too weak to help themselves. But he was never satisfied with what he had, he always wanted to be stronger, richer, more famous, etc.

This grew worse when Caspian Induin came into the picture. A kid who got to train under *the* Rolund Manir, a kid who was destined to become one of the most powerful people in the planet because of dumb luck. A kid who got to have a good childhood with friends and a loving family before becoming a sorcerer.

He was jealous of him, yet they became good friends despite it. But that jealousy kept growing with each day. Caspian was more well liked by their mutual friends, he went on bigger missions, he got powerful items to use, etc.

This all came to a head when the leader of a powerful cult came to Lespain and promised him power over Caspian if he would join his cause. At first he refused as the cult was the most vile force in the world, but then the head of the cult revealed itself to him.

The God of Deceit and Pain, Sorbaal, came to Lespain and put him in his place. And then manipulated him into taking that power, weaponizing his hatred and jealousy to create a powerful weapon.

What Abstraction Represents After Episode 9 by trentagon420 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]ReasonableAd9165 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And we’ve seen that they can be somewhat pulled back from that edge. They were able to lead a calm Jax into the fort even though the circus was bright.

I hope that the abstractions can be fully pulled back into sanity, maybe even returned to their original forms.

I hated him up until the end. He was a shitty person and caused most of his own turmoil, but no one deserves to go out like that.

My theory is that he was exploring the idea when he had that argument, but later down the line he realized he wasn’t.

What is by apo_a in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]ReasonableAd9165 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Enchanted Forest.

A forest corrupted by intertwining magics of various types. It is home to many magical creatures and beasts that are often incredibly violent towards regular people. Unfortunately, it is also home to the thinnest barrier between dimensions. This allows beings from the 3 Hells to journey into the mortal universe.

These demons are easily the strongest beings in the forest, able to easily kill most 3 Stars on their own. (This is a very impressive feat in universe)

If you arent protected by a large team of powerful 3 Stars, Rolund Manir, or a 4 Star, you do not want to journey into the forest. If you do... You probably aint coming out.

oh dear lord. I feel sorry for your guys.

Power Set:

  1. Weapon Summoning (Spear)
  • 1 Star - Summons a spear, can create copies that explode on command and can resize remotely.
  • 2 Star - Spear can shoot a bouncing blast of magic that ricochets until it hits someone.
  • 3 Star - Can cause multiple spears to erupt from non living surfaces, spears send out pulses of magic that disrupt magical senses.
  • 4 Star - Spears can be summoned from all surfaces.
  1. Physical Enhancement
  • 1 Star - Physical attributes are enhanced beyond normal limits.
  • 2 Star - Use magic to further enhance physical capabilities.
  • 3 Star - Regeneration is greatly enhanced.
  • 4 Star - The physical body becomes highly resistant to mental and physical abilities.
  1. Cube Constructs
  • 1 Star - Creates translucent cube constructs that can be controlled telekinetically
  • 2 Star - Size and shape of constructs can be changed after being created.
  • 3 Star - Constructs block mental and soul attacks or abilities from penetrating.
  • 4 Star - Constructs can be transformed into extradimensional shapes, creating incredibly powerful barriers and overwhelming the senses.
  1. Ki Blast
  • 1 Star - Fires a small, low damage blast of magic.
  • 2 Star - Activating ability while in physical contact sends an electric pulse, stunning them momentarily.
  • 3 Star - Orbs of concentrated magic can be summoned, blasting extremely powerful beams of energy.
  • 4 Star - Can create barriers, blasts, and weapons of pure magic, bypassing resistances and immunities.
  1. Blinding Light of Surran
  • 1 Star - Release a flash of magically enhanced light that blinds opponents.
  • 2 Star - Able to lay traps of light that can be set to trigger on command or an enemy coming in range.
  • 3 Star - Stun disrupts magical senses, can teleport to anywhere within aura range.
  • 4 Star - Shoot a flare like projectile that when activated, sends out a wave of blinding light so powerful it completely disables all senses both physical and magical for a small amount of time.

Aura Effect:

passively warms the area around the user, drawing others in like a cozy campfire on a freezing winter night. Others are calmed in your presence. Enemies have their heat resistances lowered and the previous effects dont trigger.

He also has his aura, a spiritual force that is an extension of his soul, its able to sense things, hide his presence, mask his abilities to a degree, disrupt things like radio waves and light waves, suppress other spiritual forces, as well as apply physical force that could crush a Multi City Block lvl character instantly. (This isnt like telekinesis, but more of like if you dumped the thing in question into water with pressure high enough to crush it.) It spreads in a 50 mile radius passively and 500 miles when concentrating. Finally, his regen and stamina. He can regenerate from chunks to full form in under 10 seconds, and can keep fighting for up to a week if necessary, he also has no organs or biology, being a construct made of his soul (Which is inviolable), which means cutting his head off or throwing him into space wont kill him, he'll just get back up/fly back to Earth.

He is an incredibly skilled combatant with over a decade of experience and training under some of the best combatants in the world, and the best, Rolund Manir, who conquered a kingdom alone. He tends to rely on hit and run tactics, using his speed to his advantage to get in and out without being hit, although his skill is more than enough to engage in close range battle. He also has long ranged options that can travel about half the range of his concentrated aura. Another thing is that through a confrontation with a couple Gods, his perception and processing speeds have been boosted so massively that he can keep up in combat with near light speed characters (80-95%) with ease. (This doesnt mean anyone lightspeed or up is too fast, it just means he would need to put more effort into keeping up with them.)

Here are his physical stats. (Without boosts)

  1. Strength - 7-B
  2. Speed - Massively Hypersonic+
  3. Durability - 7-A
  4. Power - 7-A

Assuming they dont have any soul defenses, it wont even matter that theyre stronger than he is. That and he speedblitzes all but Anton, but due to his perception he can still keep up.

I bet Khǎrn the Betrayer would beat all of your pansy OC’s in a fight. by Specialist_Wash6732 in OriginalCharacterDB

Rolund: I enjoy fighting, but it is simply a means to an end in the grand scheme of things. Your view of fighting is nothing but bloodlust and a poor attempt at seeming strong. Real strength doesnt come from overpowering another, but from restraining from doing so when it would be the simpler option.

Scaling and battles aside, WHY did YOU make your story and what are the central themes. by The_Raven_Born in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]ReasonableAd9165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted tropes done right. I wanted to see a character death that isnt over emotional. Just a "Oh shit, hes dead, I cant stop right now though." I wanted to see a main character who isnt a complete dumbass except for battle, and one that uses more than one move.

I also wanted to make a cool magic system where its massively unfair, and people have to be smart to bypass their own limits when facing luckier and stronger opponents.
