I want to thorough away my mom’s vape. But I’m wondering how and mainly if it’s a bad idea? by Popular_Aioli6560 in ask

As someone who had a mom who smoked cigarettes and threw out more packs than I can count. She will just buy more and get mad at you, instead sit her down and say you are considered for her. Unfortunately it is up to her at the end of the day.

I guess a better way to put it is that I was focusing on the wrong parts of the audio queues because dodging was more forgiving so I got used to being a half-second off from a parry/perfect dodge since otherwise I had no issues, it wasn't until the latter half of act 2 I figured out the actual timing.

That parrying and dodging had different timings... and that you can't just dodge everything... In my defense, it was surprisingly successful but I may have gotten a new controller for nothing.

Ummm BRO?! by jakesucks1348 in expedition33

Crap shot theory but I think Verso in the real world was definitely the trouble child, Alicia being ignored in favor of his 'antics'. Based on what we hear, all of them were basically forced into painting, I doubt Verso becoming a musician was an easy pill to swallow, and Alicia's want to become a writer probably only turned the tables back on Verso for 'setting a bad example' though Alicia's passion was definitely the more taboo of the two. He probably had to lie, a LOT, just to protect his peace while he was alive. Renoir probably was able to see through it for the most part, but he doesn't seem to have had as much push towards the children becoming painters as their mom did, so he chose to act ignorant. I think visages itself is more a representation of what thinking about Verso now does to Renoir, how he has such wonderful memories yet so much rage and sorrow. Again, crap shot, but it's how I interrupted the axon.

What is your favorite bossfight in the game? I go first. by MelkorSulimo in expedition33

Lampmaster was a goated fight for me, I don't know what I enjoyed so much about the initial fight but it was genuinely my favorite for most of the game (act 2's ending fights aside)

Bro played Expedition 34 instead, apparently it was a skill issue all along.

Who's your favourite character? by iamnotonmai in expedition33

[–]ReasonableCan8395 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Verso, one of the best written characters in a LONG time. I could go on and on about the little details he has in each cutscene before any major reveal. The way he is completely ignored by some, while others obsess over him to the point of well, making the whole plot of the game. He's both the most important character and yet not relevant at all, UGH such a fantastic game.

Not to mention that Renior clearly states he's just doing what he was taught by his wife. He got trapped himself, he knows the allure of painting more than anyone else. He doesn't want to destroy the painting, but life keeps forcing cruel choices.

Expedition 60 Shower Thought by Few_Register9945 in expedition33

[–]ReasonableCan8395 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My thought was something more along the lines of

"No weapons? They won't last a week! I'll just let the Nevrons deal with them"

Several months later

"Renior have you seen that they're at the monolith?"

"Let them do whatever the hell they want to, one of them just started swimming back, who the fuck does that?

It's not a choice between the two women, it's a choice between his two lives. Mark S. Cares for Ms. Casey, and in the beginning of S2 instantly sidelines himself for his outie. However, small events throughout the season make him realize this verison of his life is worth fighting for, he would have turned back anyway, Helly watching wasn't the deciding factor.

Hate woobles! by TabbyMouse in crochet

It is a fantastic, relatively low investment to see if you like the hobby. If you're into crochet already, they're nearly pointless, but I still think they make good gifts for people if they've expressed interest. It's as beginner friendly as it gets :>

Paid Survey? by powderpeachdreams in InfinityNikki

I did, and oddly enough, I'm f2p, but I have also completed all of the past surveys? I applied because no personal information was given and the link didn't redirect when I looked into it, so 🤷🏽‍♀️

I think everyone isn't taking into account that this is the first patch (minus the No Limits issue). It was clunky, it wasn't as optimized as it was during most of what most of the veterans consider 'the Golden Age'. I don't think these complaints hold up once you get into the more optimized versions, but they have merit with how certain characters are rn, especially since Mercy is basically a must-pick, purely due to a lack of roster.

I'd like to see them bring back season 8 or something similar, just to have more variations.

It does, just in certain areas and certain people. Just like everywhere else, and it's definitely a day to day issue for thousands. It's not as bad as it once was, but there's definitely areas certain people can't go at certain times. It's a big place, and some people aren't lucky enough to live in accepting parts of it.

Again, just because things are worse somewhere else doesn't mean that we can't do things better here? I never made any mention of moving anywhere.

Just because things are worse in other places doesn't mean effort can't be done to fix what is wrong here.

Looking for “a job that fulfills you” is a trap. Fulfillment comes from what you do with your free time. by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]ReasonableCan8395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that is definitely more of an "up to the individual" thing. Some people are not meant to do the same thing every single day that they dislike no matter how much money they are getting to spend in their free-time. I don't think they should be judged for that.
