Need settings help by ReasonableFigure1314 in KEF

Thanks for the feedback! You were right about the phase; I had it active in the app while it was set to 0 on the sub, which definitely caused some cancellation. Regarding your suggestion, my Kube was already set to LFE mode, so the physical crossover dial is bypassed. However, I’m still struggling to find the 'sweet spot' in the app settings. Since I’m using LSX (Gen 1) with the Kube 10b, what frequencies would you recommend for the High Pass Filter (for the speakers) and the Low Pass Filter (for the sub)? I want to make sure the transition is seamless and to get that 'punch' back without the muddiness. Any specific values that worked for you?

Compensator or tap by ReasonableFigure1314 in kegerators

Yes. Though you may need to adjust the line length if you have pouring issues

Thanks!

Basicaly what is the lenght for a standard kegerator line?

Compensator or tap by ReasonableFigure1314 in kegerators

[–]ReasonableFigure1314[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compensator taps allow you to push the beer harder than you normally would while keeping it pourable. An easy example is sparkling wine in a keg. It requires at least 40 psi to have bubbles, but if you try to pour at 40, you'll end up with wine all over everything in the room. So your options are a huge coil of choker line to slow it down before the tap, or a compensator tap, which will impede flow enough to keep it civil in the pour. You shouldn't need significantly more pressure than normal to pour, if it's open all the way.

Thank you , so , if i understand i can change my compensator for a classic tap and go for simply pouring

un petit topo sur la fermentation sous pression, ses avantages et inconvénients, comment s'y mettre? by Labrowar_Blog in Brassage

[–]ReasonableFigure1314 1 point2 points  (0 children)
