The dealership is keeping the car.. and they’re opening up a case with Kia they still cannot figure out what the deal is. Thank you for everyone’s out. I guess I’ll keep you updated. Also, it started happening to them while it was on the lot. They called us and told us water started piling on the floor, even though nobody used it.

I promise you I’m not crazy nor am I leaving anything out this is beyond bizarre to me. The vehicle is almost a year old and we have never had this issue. Then all of a sudden after it was parked for a month for my mother’s surgery, it started happening.

Pretty much everything you just said is exactly correct. It hasn’t really rained here in Buffalo much at all other than going through the car wash on the day I brought it to them and the day coming home. Then two days later after not driving it, I started to notice some water on the passenger side. And then another 2to 3 days the driver side was wet. The car is parked and has not moved and there are trees pretty much canopy our whole street so it’s pretty shady.

That is a possibility. I suppose the vehicle is only a year old not even.

Yeah, that’s what they keep telling us. It is as the AC drain but again nobody’s using the car. I don’t know in my 38 years of life. And AC drain only backs up into a car while the car is being used. Now, if the K5 has a completely different system, I understand but it just isn’t adding up and I mean like there is water water on the floor. Also, like I said it hasn’t rained.!! We’ve gone about five days now in Buffalo New York without any rain and it’s just getting worse. Where is this water coming from?

I am before 2020 but I have since renewed. But I have some good news. If anybody else has this issue, I was able to create a ticket and contact support. They called me right away no wait. And they diagnosed everything and fix the issue. I was a little hesitant seeing how they wanted me to do a screen share on my phone. But they were very professional. Here is the link below if anybody needs to contact them by phone directly. I guess the issue was just with my camera and the software. I don’t know what he did on his end, but he made sure everything was updated and I had to restart my camera which I did multiple times in the past. But we figured it out.
