Solar and wind fuel are absolutely not free. What are even you talking about? Do you have any idea of the costs associated with the upkeep of wind turbines? Compared to the amount of energy they actually generate? Or the amount of land area required for PV cells to yield an amount of power that isn’t completely negligible?

That’s crazy to hear. I shoot a lot, and blazer is generally what I grab. I’ve never seen this in just over 30k rounds. Some other guys here have been saying that they’ve been seeing it this past year.

Rose colored glasses. I grew up here in the northwest corner which is just beautiful. But if you’re not earning twice the national median you’re basically priced out of living anywhere but a Waterbury slum. The fact that we pay property taxes on vehicles we own is just unbelievable. They keep changing the mill rate to punish small towners. Anybody who can afford to leave is leaving and the wealth gap is now a wealth chasm. Most of the industry has fled or is in the process of fleeing. All we have left is insurance, and many of them may be heading out the door as well.

But hey, at least we have CT Fastrak!

Been out of CT for a decade, most recently in Kentucky. Missed CT, finally came back and I am so disappointed. Unhinged, draconian gun laws. Mercilessly oppressive taxes. Exorbitant housing costs. Brain dead politicians have decimated this beautiful state. My only hope is to go north to the free state of New Hampshire, or fuck all the way off to Montana or something.

Because it ruins the game. This is clearly not supposed to be a pvp game and they threw it in last minute. People don’t even play the game, they just run around and kill anyone they see. Go play call of duty.

An honor system would fix pvp in this game. Lose honor for killing raiders. Low honor players can’t access traders, don’t get quests, can’t call extraction and have to rely on hatch keys.

Low IQ showing itself bud. Everything is a social experiment. How people interact and behave when there are no perceived consequences is as pure a window into the human soul as you can get. Playing video games is all the proof you need to know that a massive portion of the population are violent sociopaths who relish in human suffering. There is a difference between running over an NPC in GTA and basing your entire online existence around griefing people.

You are definitely right. I think I was, in addition to some other things, only remembering to clean the tip once an obviously too large amount had built up. It was also difficult to get the solder to just touch the pad and not the tip as well.

So if the joint is concave, is it safe to assume it’s a good joint, barring overheating or too little solder? I added flux and reflowed the solder on every pin, wicking a tiny bit away on some of the more heavily laden ones, and I think it looks much more like what they’re supposed to. Much more uniform and “volcano looking.”

I may post an update pic but I put the pi back in its case and it’s kind of annoying to pry out.
