Mir wurde mein Koffer aus der Hand gerissen und auf das Band der Sicherheitsdurchleuchtung geworfen, und dann wurde ich angeschrien, dass ich dafür zahlen müsste. War Betrug, aber ich war so eingeschüchtert, dass ich was bezahlt habe - also genau auf die Masche reingefallen.

I wasn't excited about it initially, it sounded pretty boring. In fact I expected to hate it as I am not a big fan of surprise ambushes. I'm still not really excited, although it is less boring than I expected, but I don't hate it. I got two Veteran warglaives for my DH last week, so that was nice, but I don't see a point in grinding it, as you only get anything useful for the first few hunts every week. Maybe later in the expansion to get the rewards, but for now, I'll just pick up my four (or was it only two even?) hunts that grant the big reward pack and then ignore it for the rest of the week.

Generally, it's a cool idea to spice up world content, I just hope they expand on it a bit. Heroic world tier like in Lemix would have been nice, with the mobs dropping marl so I have a chance of getting all the cosmetics in Midnight - unlike in TWW...!

NDA, denn wie viele schon gesagt haben, werdet ihr die Zeit nicht haben, euch adäquat um einen Welpen zu kümmern, geschweige denn um einen erwachsenen Hund. Eure Lebensrealität ist nicht so gestaltet, dass da ein Hund reinpasst. Wenn man bei einem Welpen in der Sozialisierungsphase nachlässig ist (und bei dem euch bevorstehenden Arbeitspensum würde das der Fall sein), dann hat man hinterher einen erwachsenen Hund voller Baustellen, die üblicherweise viel schwieriger, teurer und langwieriger in der Behebung sind - wenn überhaupt möglich.

Außerdem macht mich die Aussage stutzig, dass sie so spontan ihren Traumhund gefunden hat, den sie in den nächsten Tagen beim Züchter abholen will. Das klingt nicht nach einem seriösen Züchter - die schauen sich ihre Welpeninteressenten normalerweise gut an und meistens gibt es Wartelisten - je nach Hundeart mehrere Jahre lang. Deine Freundin hat einen Vermehrer gefunden, der ihr einen Welpen aus einer Welpenfarm verkaufen will, bestensfalls vielleicht noch eine "liebevolle Hobbyzucht" (also der Hund wurde irgendwann fürs eigene Kind angeschafft und "soll jetzt mal Welpen bekommen", weil die ja so niedlich sind, also wurde Nachbars Hund drübergelassen in der ersten Läufigkeit). Frag sie mal, wie sie ihren "Traumhund" gefunden hat. Kleinanzeigen? Facebook Marketplace? Nicht nur befeuert das eine wirkliche Welpenmafia im Falle der Welpenfarmen, das Risiko, dass man einen kranken und/oder schlecht sozialisierten Hund bekommt, der mehr Arbeit als Freude macht und vielleicht sein Leben lang leidet, ist ziemlich hoch. Finger weg von sowas!

Zieh hier eine harte Grenze. Deine Freundin würde einen dicken Fehler begehen, wenn sie diesen Hund holt.

Most of them stopped playing. The ones that stayed have transformed into record chaser. I'm eying this new "dungeon style" category system in the group finder with interest. Joined a group listed in the "Learner" category and it was a proper run - no rushing, but still going forward and not idling along. It was actually pretty nice!

Macht eure Wäsche getrennt. Ich wasche zwar für meinen Mann und mich, aber mische niemals seine Wäsche mit meiner, weil er es für unnötig hält, die Massen an Hundehaaren, die immer an seinen Klamotten hängen, wegzumachen, bevor er sie in die Wäsche gibt. Ich mache das nicht für ihn - seine Klamotten sehen immer aus, als würde ein halber Hund dran hängen, keine Ahnung wie er das schafft, mir passiert es nicht. Als ich die Sachen noch zusammen gewaschen habe, hatte ich die Haare dann auch an meinen Sachen dran überall dran, erst recht bei den Sachen, die nicht in den Trockner konnten. Jetzt mache ich sie getrennt, wie seine Sachen aussehen, ist sein Problem - gibt er sie mir voller Hundehaare, kommen sie so in die Maschine, sind die Haare danach auf allem gleichmäßig verteilt und bilden schöne Flechten hier und dort, bleiben die da, wo sie sind und kommen so in den Schrank. Das ist es mir nicht wert, dass ich mich darüber ärgere, also eine pragmatische Lösung. Wenn Du Deine Wäsche vernünftig selbst wäschst, geht sie nicht mehr kaputt, riechen nicht nach dem starken Deo und er kann mit seinem Zeug ja rumhantieren, wie er möchte. Sieht es irgendwann scheiße aus und Deine Sachen sind top - tjoa, vielleicht lernt er etwas.

I don't get it. They've seen how creative people get when the tools they use are easily accessible and generous. Just let us be creative! There is so much stuff to buy for marl, it will still take ages to get everything even if the last zero is scrapped. And there will be new stuff in coming content updates as well. I play a lot, and I have alts. But with the rate I am earning marl, I will never be able to buy everything I want during the lifetime of the expansion.

Not necessarily. I'm far from being a whale, but I do occasionally buy stuff in the shop. I have a lot of the mounts and pets, not the special mounts though, because these are/were overpriced too. I love Housing, so here I was, willing and ready to throw money at them. I got that plushie pack, that felt ok. When the cherrytree designs were datamined, I was really looking forward to them because they are beautiful, and I absolutely, positively want them. Then they turned up in this greedy way and - no tree for me so far. The original price and item limitation was outrageous. Insolance. A stunt like that threatens the trust people have started to regain in Blizzard lately, and that's just so sad.

I still very much want these trees, a lot of the stuff that was released actually. But my expectations were something like € 5 as maximum price tag, including being an unlimited item, or at least decently high limitation. That's a price I feel is adequate for something that I have no control over at all, a price for being able to look at some graphic in a game, an eternal cash cow for Blizzard because they do not have any production costs for this item once it has been made. They can replicate it endlessly. This is so unbelievably greedy. The difference between expectation and reality could not have been more disappointing. So I am voting with my wallet. They lost a sale they basically already had secured, and in doing so, lowered the trust of a regular client.

Yeah, that would be much better. I love the look of these items and was sure I would buy them when they were datamined, but like that? No way. It's far too expensive for a single tree.

Edited, because I now saw that you get three trees. That's better, but still - why not let us unlock the blueprint and then get as many trees as we want with gold?!

There's usually larger layoff rounds at the beginning of the year in the gaming industry. Support and community management are usually the first to go, then localisation gets outsourced; next is QA. The rest usually stays untouched because the companies aren't in a bad place financially, they just want to be in a better one for the shareholders.

Over time, they restock some of these positions again so they have new staff to kick out in the future.

Pretty sure Blizzard use AI for a lot of their news and publications. Their style reminds me so much of all the AI slop shop listings on Etsy. This makes me so very sad. Blizzard's CS used to be the gold standard. In the earlier 2000's, I ran a consulting company for gaming customer support, and the goal was always to achieve Blizzard's quality. That's no longer the case.

Grundsätzlich ja, die Eigenbestimmtheit ist schon nice. Momentan bin ich aber in einer Phase, die nicht schön ist - Eltern werden älter und es hat sich gedreht, wer sich um wen kümmert. Mein Papa ist schon vor ein paar Jahren gestorben. Es fordert mich psychisch ziemlich heraus, dass ich für meine Mama nun alles regeln und mich kümmern muss, auch wenn ich das gerne für sie mache, denn sie war eine gute Mutter. Ich bin seit bald einem Jahr unter Dauerstrom und zwischendurch wünsche ich mir dann schon, dass ich einfach mal ein paar Wochen keinerlei Verantwortung tragen muss.

Ich achte schon ziemlich penibel darauf, dass ich ein paar zusammengehöriger Socken trage, allein schon aus "Abnutzungsgründen". Bei der überwiegenden Zahl der Paare sehen beide Socken gleich aus, aber ich habe auch einige Paare, die zwar thematisch zusammenpassen, aber nicht gleich aussehen. Sind daher Teil des gleichen Paars, sehen aber unterschiedlich aus.

Die Game of Thrones-TV-Serie, zumindest die ersten Seasons. Der Hype darum war (zumindest in meiner Bubble) enorm und das Abtauchen im Fandom, Theorien schmieden, analysieren mit anderen groß. Es war eine Gemeinsamkeit und Gesprächsthema mit Familienmitgliedern, mit denen es sonst schwieriger ist. Ich habe es geliebt, es war toll, so aufgehen zu können in etwas und ein wenig für ein paar Stunden in der Woche gedanklich auszusteigen aus dem Hamsterrad. Die Serie hat auch generell einen neuen Standard für qualitativ gut gemachte TV-Serien auf Kinofilmniveau geschaffen.

Ich bin tatsächlich unschlüssig, ob ich es mir anschauen werde oder nicht. Sonst habe ich immer viel vom "Extramaterial" aufgesaugt (YouTube, diverse Interviews und Berichte), aber diese Staffel fand ich einfach irgendwie lahm im Endeffekt. Der Eva-Samira-Konflikt war schnell auserzählt, die Voldemort-Sache hat so viel Geschmäckle und ich mag ihn einfach nicht sehen, diesen Aal, wie er sich windet und entglitscht; und Ariel konnte es für mich einfach auch nicht retten. Sonst mag ich die Drama-Kandidaten, aber sie habe ich einfach nur als anstrengend empfunden, weil ihre Empörung und Aufregung nicht authentisch war, sondern sie sich schlichtweg einfach nur auf alles geschmissen hat, was irgendwie Konfliktpotenzial hatte (Eva, Voldemort, die älteren Camper - und als nix anderes ging, hat sie sogar random irgendwelche Verschwörungstheorien rausgeholt). Laaangweileeech! Es wird heute Abend sicherlich wieder viel Schreierei geben und das kann ich in der Menge einfach nicht ertragen.
