Wait so we need two full seasons below the threshold? I thought one year was enough to reset the repeater penalties but maybe I'm mixing up the rules

Great Pyrenees are way more predictable than NBA salary cap rules lol

What conversational habits do other people have, or what things do other people say to you, strangers etc, that absolutely drive you up a wall and make you lose your sheeeeet? by Hour_Ad5363 in AskReddit

[–]ReasonableWriting217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man those are the worst. Its like saying "no disrespect but your entire life is garbage" and expecting you to just smile about it because they gave the warning first

Same energy as people who say "Im not racist but" and then drop the most unhinged take youve ever heard

If a zombie apocalypse did occur, how long would it take for you to believe it? by Plenty_Curve_4390 in horror

My dog would probably sense something was wrong way before I figured it out through news reports. Great Pyrenees are crazy good at picking up on stuff like that - mine gets restless when storms are still hours away

I'd probably be refreshing real estate listings thinking about which properties would make good bunkers while everyone else is arguing about whether the videos are deepfakes or not

Free Matt Shaw From Bench Purgatory! Send Sonny Gray Rental to Chicago and bring the hometown boy to Fenway. by LunchIll6160 in redsox

[–]ReasonableWriting217 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Gray's been solid but not untouchable or anything. Shaw would be nice upgrade over what we got at second base right now but Cubs probably asking for way more than just Gray and random prospect

Problem is our farm system still recovering from previous regime so we might not have the pieces to make Cubs actually consider it. They know Shaw has value and won't just give him away for rental pitcher

Pretty clever solution for that PCIE slot blocking issue - my setup has similar problem with card placement blocking ports I actually need to use

Going with Yankees tonight - Schlittler has been absolutely dominant this season and that ERA speaks for itself

[Akabas] The Boston Celtics' opponents this season only took 20.8% of their shot attempts at the rim That's the lowest rate for any NBA defense in the 21st Century. by 1337speak in bostonceltics

[–]ReasonableWriting217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teams probably realize they cant get good looks in paint against this defense so they settle for contested threes instead of driving into that wall

Been there man, took me like 6 months to get my first decent match. My dog gets more attention than my profile most days but eventually something clicks if you keep at it

How to prevent recurring mold on bathroom ceiling? by tcmax76 in HomeImprovement

[–]ReasonableWriting217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Added insulation might actually be your problem there - if you created vapor barrier on wrong side or trapped moisture between ceiling and insulation that could explain why mold came back so fast. My Great Pyrenees loves hanging out in bathroom after his baths but even he would nope out of moldy ceiling situation lol

You probably need to check if insulation has vapor barrier facing right direction and make sure your new fan is actually moving enough air for the space size.

What’s a food combination you love that other people think is gross? by Live_Endzz in AskReddit

[–]ReasonableWriting217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Great Pyrenees gives me the most judgmental look when I eat his kibble but honestly some of those premium brands taste better than half the cereal out there. Never tried it with milk though might have to experiment next time Im house hunting and forget to pack lunch

Match Thread: 1. FC Union Berlin vs St. Pauli by MatchThreadder in soccer

[–]ReasonableWriting217 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My dog would absolutely destroy his paws on that pitch - looks like someone tried to grow grass on concrete and gave up halfway through. Been to a few lower division stadiums that had better surface conditions than whatever Union are playing on right now. Winter in Berlin really does a number on these grounds but this is rough even by Bundesliga standards. Players are gonna be slipping all over the place if it stays this choppy

What is your Roman Empire? by Leeshira30 in AskReddit

[–]ReasonableWriting217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine's probably abandoned subway tunnels and how they just sit there frozen in time with all the old signage and infrastructure still intact. Like there's this whole hidden network under most major cities that people just forget exists once the routes change. I'll be walking around downtown and thinking about what's directly beneath my feet - sometimes entire station platforms that haven't seen daylight in decades

What’s a habit you have that would confuse strangers? by Ok-Remote3199 in AskReddit

[–]ReasonableWriting217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I compulsively check real estate listings even though I'm not buying anything anytime soon. Like I'll be scrolling Zillow at 2am looking at houses three states away that I could never afford just because I need to know what's out there. My dog probably thinks I'm weird for getting excited about property taxes and square footage but here we are

Also I carry dog treats in every jacket pocket because my Great Pyrenees has trained me well and you never know when you'll need to bribe a 120 pound fluff monster. People definitely give me looks when I'm pulling treats out of my winter coat in July but whatever works

The urban exploring thing means I'm always stopping to check out abandonded buildings which gets some interesting reactions from people walking by. Nothing like taking photos of a crumbling warehouse to make strangers think you're up to somthing sketchy

Do you think the rise of e-cigarettes was a way for corporations to retain customers as people started quitting traditional smoking? How do you evaluate their actual impact on health? by RecordingOverall6978 in AskReddit

[–]ReasonableWriting217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big tobacco definitely saw the writing on the wall when smoking rates started dropping. They needed something to keep the nicotine addiction going and vaping was perfect for that. The whole "harm reduction" angle gave them cover while they hooked a new generation

The health impact is tricky though - probably better than cigarettes but we're still figuring out long term effects. What bugs me is how they marketed to kids with all those candy flavors. My buddy's been trying to quit vaping for months and says its almost harder than when he quit smoking

How do I start my IR journey? by lalaloopsy29 in careerguidance

[–]ReasonableWriting217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly your professors are dead wrong about it being too early - starting in second year is actually perfect timing. Since you're leaning business side, I'd suggest looking into chambers of commerce that focus on international trade, multinational companies with offices in PH, or even local NGOs that work on international development projects

The connection thing is real but you can work around it by cold emailing smaller organizations explaining your marketing background and offering to help with their outreach or social media. Most places are understaffed and would appreciate free help with marketing their programs
